THE HIGH POINT TOOL

THE HIGH POINT TOOL


You can access the High Point tool by opening :
- a 16 bit file (Contour Treatment / Open Memory Session);
- a 8 bit file and a 16 bit file at the same time loaded via the Contour Treatment / Open Disk
Session function and extracted via the tool.

This tool allows the user to place a High Point associated with a value over a DTM.

Procedures

1/ Open a 16 bit file (.ic2 or .geo) (Contour Treatment / Open Memory Session) or a 8 bit
(.ic1 or .img) and a 16 bit file at the same time by selecting the Contour Treatment / Open
Disk Session function and then by extracting a zone via the tool (See the Scissors tool).

2/ Select the tool by clicking (8 left button) directly over its icon.
The pointer takes the H form.
3/ Click (8 left button) precisely over the point of the High Point
4/ The following Parameters box opens :

Enter the elevation Flag and the size (Line) of the High Point.
Validate via the OK button.
The High Point is displayed over the DTM.
