CONTENT & STRUCTURE OF REPORT:

Various parts of the report should generally be arranged in the order given below. However, if any
project-specific modifications are needed, these may be incorporated after discussion with your Thesis

various functional components, etc., etc.;

Chapter: II Background Theoretical Studies/ Literature Studt, an analytical study of the functional
and other needs of the intended users of your project; studies aimed at understanding the functional
aspect of the project;
Theoretical Study related to the Topic e.g. in case of Museums; types of Museums,
circulation patterns etc.
Building services
Structure System
Climate Responsive Architecture
Universal Design Aspects
A-Seismic Design features
or any other aspect which is important for your project.

Chapter: III Case Studies

Case Studies: These include Live case study (minimum 2nos.) and Literature case study. Start each
case study by mentioning the purpose of the study as well as the source/s of information, and end with
an analytical conclusion. For each of the Case Studies, it is very important to start with a brief
description accompanied by explicit plans and sections as well as photographs of interiors and
exteriors. This chapter should end in the comparative analysis of all case examples of various
parameters.

Chapter: V Design Concept & Evolution

FORMAT& PAGE COMPOSITION:

Size: All reports are to be composed on A4 sized sheets. A few (minimum required) sheets depicting
large maps or drawings which would lose clarity if printed on A4 sheets can, however, be printed on A3
sheets and folded to conform to the report size.
Page Margins: Top, Bottom and Right Side -- 2.0 cm; Left Side (Binding) 2.5 cm.
Font Type, Size, Spacing: Times New Roman, 12, 1.15 (spacing)
Images: Each side of all images should be a minimum of 10.0 cm with caption
Page Borders, Headers and Footers: Avoid page borders, elaborate headers and footers as these
eat up valuable space and, more often than not, dilute the needed visual focus on the main content of
the page.
Page Numbers: However, each page should be numbered
