Course Overview for Learning Skills for university Studies

WUC131/03 aims to help you to develop a set of attitudes that will lead to successful and
independent lifelong learning in an open learning environment. Through this course, it is
hoped that you will be able to walk through your learning process more efficiently and
smoothly. As there is no one standard set of strategies which is applicable to all, this course is
designed to expose you to various strategies which are relevant to your learning process, such
as learning styles, preparations for examinations, note taking, searching for information as
well as time and stress management. With that, it is hoped that you will discover what will
work out best in your situations. The table below shows the unit titles and the number of
weeks it will take to go through each unit.
