MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF BGY.
VELOSO, CALUBIAN, LEYTE HELD ON JUNE 7, 2009 AT THE BARANGAY HALL.
PRESENT: BGY. CAPTAIN LEONARDO M. PATES, JR. - Presiding

The session was called to order at exactly 10:00 in the morning. Bgy. Capt. Leonardo
M. Pates, Jr. presided over the session. The singing of the Philippine National Anthem
followed.
The Pres. Chair asked the bgy. secretary if there is a quorum. The secretary called the
roll and the Pres. Chair declared the presence of a quorum. Consequently, the Pres. Chair
asked the pleasure of the body. Bgy. Kagawad Elcarte moved for the reading first of the
minutes of the previous session. Bgy. Kagawad Majait seconded. Nobody objected. The bgy.
secretary accordingly read the minutes of the April 5, 2009 regular session into the body.
The Chair inquired any comments, reactions or objections on the minutes of the
previous session. The rest of the members presented no comments or corrections to the
minutes. Hence, the Chair advised to move for the approval of the previous minutes. Bgy.
Kagawad Braga moved for the approval of previous minutes. Bgy. Kagawad Escuadra
seconded. The Chair then declared the previous minutes as approved as read.
The Pres. Chair presented the Order of Business of the session.
I. Calendar of Business.
A. Presented into the body the advisory & info campaign regarding possible outbreak
of the Influenza A (H1N1) into the barangay & for the members also to take precautionary
measures & prevention against the disease.
II. Other Matters.
None
There being no further business maters being taken up, the Chair asked the pleasure of
the body. Bgy. Kagawad Majait moved to adjourn the session. Bgy. Kagawad Canama
seconded. Nobody objected. The Chair hence declared session adjourned. Adjourned at
exactly 11:30 a.m.
