And is used to join two words, phrases and sentences.
Examples:
Ravi bought a pen. Ravi bought a ruler.
Ravi bought a pen and a ruler.
He likes to eat banana. He likes to eat oranges.

Or
Or is used to show choice.
Examples:
Do you want the blue balloon? Do you want the white balloon?
Do you want the blue balloon or the white balloon?
You can read this book. You can read that book.
You can read this book or that book.
But
But is used to show contrast.
Examples:
Abu is tall. Ali is short.
Abu is tall but Ali is short.
Danial likes fishing. Randi likes drawing.
Danial likes fishing but Randi likes drawing.
