Major Pipelines in India

There are 40 petroleum and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) pipelines in India with a total length of over 14,000 kilometers. The pipelines are operated by various public sector companies including Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), and GAIL (India) Limited. The pipelines transport over 93 million metric tons per year of petroleum products and LPG across the country.
