Definicija i upotreba present continuous tensa

Present continuous tense je glagolsko vrijeme engleskog jezika koje izražava neku radnju koja traje u
trenutku kada o njoj govorimo. – Znaci, kad moras razlikovati izmedju 2 vremena u sadasnjosti uvijek
imaj na umu da je ovo ono koje TRENUTNO traje. Naprimjer, ja pjevam sad – I am currently singing.

- Present continuous tense također se koristi za izražavanje buduće radnje koju smo već isplanirali.
Npr. I am taking my exam next month.
Ovo zna biti cesto na ispitima. Npr, ono kad hoces da ides na voz ili nesto, reci ces npr. My
train is leaving in 30 minutes, npr. Znac, ovo sto ce se definitivno dogoditi u blizoj buducnosti
nekoj.

 Tvorba present continuous tensa

Tvorba present continuous tense temelji se na pomoćnom glagolu „to be“ (biti) koji se mijenja po
zamjenicama. Istovremeno glavni glagol dobiva specifičan nastavak „ing“. Njegova je svrha u engleskom
jeziku da prikaže da se neka radnja događa upravo sada.

I am walking now.

You are reading now.

He is watching the television at this time.

She is swimming now.

It is breaking down.

We are sleeping.

You are still watching TV.

They are learning.

- Niječni oblik engleskog glagolskog vremena present continuous tense tvorimo tako da iza
pomoćnog glagola samo dodamo nastavak „not“.

I am not walking now.

You are not reading now.

He is not watching the television at this time.


She is not swimming now.

- Za upitni oblik samo zamijenis mjesta glagolu i imenici. Am I, Are you, Is he ..

Npr. Are you reading now ?
