Performance Objectives
Introduction
Performance objectives describe what learners will be able to do after completing
a training program. The performance objectives will emphasize . . ..
Mastery Level
Successful mastery of objectives is demonstrated when a learner scores ??% or
better on the written assessments, and ??% or better on the simulated files
assessments.
Objective List
The tables below list the high-level objectives for the modules of the <project>
project Training program.

Evaluation Strategy
Levels of Evaluation
This table describes the levels of evaluation that will be assessed.
Level Purpose Examples
1. Participant reaction Measure responses about
the training
2. Participant learning Measure the amount of
learning that has occurred
in the training
3. Participant behavior Measure the change in
behavior or skill that has
occurred in the training
Evaluation
Assessment instruments and simulations/role plays will be used to objectively
test participants. The assessments will be based on the learning objectives which
themselves are based on performance goals.
Scoring
Successful completion of this course requires accurate answers <% correct on
written evaluation; % correct on the simulations>, in a reasonable completion
time to be established. Trainers will score assessments and scores will be given
to managers.
Remediation
All final scores will be shared with the department managers with the
recommendation that participants not meeting required percentages be provided
additional support.
The following strategy(ies) can be used for remediation:

Design Review and Sign-Off
Overview
The goal of this design review is to obtain final design sign-off by the
individuals designated on the sign-off list, as all training development will stem
from it.
Summary
This design document is the foundation for the <project> project training
program. Please review the entire document for content. Make sure the design
covers the objectives necessary for successful business goal implementation, as
well as effective measurement of those objectives.
