missing values

Balance sheet: create, ratios

These three are the probabilities, one will for sure come.
Balance sheet way to proceed:

First list Fixed assets-land etc etc

Then Current assets: that includes cash, debtors, stock

Total fixed assets = FA+CA

Then current liabilities: includes overdrafts(short term loan) and creditors

then long term liabilities: that includes long-term loans(anything beyond one year is long term in
finance)

then net assets: that includes share capital, retained profit

Sums up to form equity


PNL account formula:

Gross profit (sales revenue-cogs)

Cogs=opening stock+purchases-closing stock

Net profit= gp-expenses

Sales revenue, total revenue, sales turnover

Pnl account

Tradingaccount

Gross profit = sales revenue, total revenue, sales turnover – cogs or cost f sales

Cogs or cost of sales = OS+purchases-CS

Pnl account

Net profit before interest and tax = GP- expenses

Net profit before tax= NP before I and T – interest

Net profit after interest and tax = NP before T – corporation tax

Appropriation account

Retained profit = NP after I and T – dividends
