“Derek’s Plan”

1. Int/Day/Matt’s House/Bedroom
Matt is getting ready for school, he is dressing up for school,
preparing all the things he is needed for his classes.
Mother (from the kitchen): honey! Breakfast is ready.
Matt: COMING!!!!
2. Int/Day/Matt’s House/kitchen
Matt and his family are eating Breakfast together before going
to school.
Mother: how did you sleep last night?
Matt:great mom!
Sister:well
Mother: look, here is your lunch, grab it, and go, we're getting
late.
3.Int/Day/school/Hall
Matt is walking to his classroom elusive, remembering the time
he tried to read his sister’s mind. The shot focus on the face
of Matt.
4.Int/Day/Matt’s room
Matt is talking with her sister, she is being an asshole,
looking Matt with a bad face.
Matt: What happened?
Sister:Nothing…
Matt: tell me!
Sister: you are too young to understand.
Matt: please, tell me, maybe I can help.
Sister: Nooo, you don’t, I don’t want to talk about it.
Matt is trying reading her mind. The scene finished with a close
up to his sister’s head.
5.INT/Night/Dark place/Matt’s sisters head
there are a lot of abstract ideas he can’t understand, he is
scared, he saw a face that he didn’t know about her sister,
screams and weird sounds embrace all the room.
6.INT/Day/School/Classroom
Matt is thoughtful in class, not paying attention, thinking
about any thing, People in the surrounding screaming and
playing, the teacher trying to do class. The bell rang, Matt
took his backpack, and went outside the classroom, his life look
like a constant.
7.INT/Day/school/hall
He was walking to his locker, open it, to some books put them in
the backpack, and leave.
8.INT/Day/School/Classroom
Matt is thoughtful in class, not paying attention, thinking
about any thing, People in the surrounding screaming and
playing, the teacher trying to do class. The bell rang, Matt
took his backpack, and went outside the classroom, his life look
like a constant.
9.INT/Day/school/hall

the backpack, and leave.
10.INT/Day/School/Classroom

12.INT/Day/school/Hall
Matt was walking through the hall, and he felt a really weird
vibe, he look to the side and found a weird guy that he had
never seen before, he felt very weird, something inside him
changed, he knew something happened to him. He thought if it was
a good idea to ask him what happened to him, he got near him and
asked.
Matt: Hello, What’s your name?
Guy: Derek
Matt: everything okay?
Derek: not your problem bro
He stormed out and runaway.Matt was really confused and try to
stop him, but it was a failed attempt.
13.Int/Night/Matt’s house/Matt’s room
Matt was laid in bed, thinking of what happened today, he felt
weird, he knew something bad was happening, he consider using
his power, but rapidly change hs mind, he was to scared to use
them.
14.Int/day/school/hall
The next day(Wednesday) Matt saw the guy again, he rapidly run
to him.
Matt: Hey, man
Derek: okay, goodbye
Matt: don’t go, please, I only want to talk with you
Matt: I know something is wrong, you can tell me what it is
Derek:I need to go now…
Matt:no wait
15. Ext/day/school
Matt saw Derek again, he tried to approach him, but he notice
and run away.
16. Ext/day/school
Matt was trying to find Derek through all the school, he asked
people if they have seen it, and they responded that they didn’t
know who Derek was.
17.Int/Night/Matt’s Room
Matt what thoughtful about the vibe he was feeling, he couldn’t
understand what was happening, but he knew something was wrong,
but he couldn’t find what it was.
18.Int/Day/school
Matt, past the entire day trying to find Derek an he found it in
the bathroom.
Matt: Man, why are you here?
Derek: YOU DON’T CARE, GO AWAY
Matt didn’t resist, he read his mind, a close up to Dereks head.
19.Int/Day/derek’s head
Matt was inside Derek’s head, he was stunned, he saw clearly a
room full of graphics of the school, guns, pictures etc, and a
corner full of guns and ammo, Derek was planning an school
shooting, in the board in front of him a date was written
“Friday”.
20.Int/Day/school
Matt and Derek in the bathroom
Matt:now I know, so a school shooting
Derek: if you say something I would kill everyone of your
family,I know were you live, is that simple, you shut up.
Matt, past the entire day trying to find Derek an he found it in
the bathroom.
21.Int/Day/school/Hall
Matt was pretty nervous, he looked disgusting, he didn’t sleep,
and he was very stressed, he looked like a monster, we walked
through all the school asking for Derek, to convince him to not
do the school shooting, nevertheless anyone knew Derek. He asked
different groups of people in the hall.
Matt: Have You see Derek?
Group 1: No man, how’s that?
Matt:Hey guys have you seen Derek?
Group 2: he’s not in this school man, you look like a crazy man
22.Int/Day/school/bathroom
Matt was in the bathroom, looking into the mirror, he barely
recognize himself, he was like a monster, he hadn’t sleep, his
hair was a mess, and we couldn’t stop thinking about the school
shooting. He put some water on his face, and kept looking.
23. Int/Day/school
Matt kept looking, and he was very stressed, he was a total
monster, he didn’t hear anybody, he had a goal, but he couldn’t
find him, he grab his backpack and leave school.
24.Int/night/Matt’s home/Kitchen
Matt was eating like an animal, he looked metal, he didn’t talk
to anybody, he was thinking about the school shooting that was
going to happen the next day, and he couldn’t stop him. He tried
to read Derek’s mind to see where he was, but he only saw black.
25. Int/night/Matt’s home/Room
He was unable to sleep, he was felling sick and crazy, he had
completely lost it. He thought he couldn’t go to school for the
school shooting, it was too much for him, he felt responsable.
26.Int/day/Matt’s home/ room
Matt stand up of his bed, his mother was entering to the room
Matt: Im not feeling well, may I skip school today
Mother: okay, but you need to catch up.
Mother: im leaving now, take care.
Mother leave his room, and he was alone, he change his t-shirt,
grab a backpack, fill it up with guns and ammo, and head to
school.
27.Int/Day/Mental Hospital/Room
Matt was at the stretcher tied up and with an straightjacket, in
front of him was his crying mother and a doctor
Doctor: He is schizophrenic, he invented a guy and blame him for
the idea of the school shooting, but all along it was his idea,
he has to be intern here until new advice.
Mother (crying): MY BOYYY!!!!
