TITANIO

Float switch for dirty water applications (patented).

Equipped with a high-performance 10 A/250 V micro-switch with self-cleaning contacts.

For the control of the level of liquids; especially suitable for controlling the level of tanks containing heavy
waters such as, for exam- ple, in sewage treatment plants and sewage channels, and/or the waste water of
these plants and industrial and other water. The TITANIO floating switch features a single-body design and
consists of an external body made of blow-moulded polypropylene with a counterweight fixed inside in
the exit area of the cable, a 10-Amp, 250-volt, 50/60 Hertz switch positioned centrally on its own
single-body watertight chamber and sealed by injection moulding with the same material with which it was
made. Since this chamber is enclosed in a container (outer body) that also has a single-body construction
and is subsequently sealed in the cavity with closed-cell foam, which in itself creates not only a high level of
thermal insulation but also a barrier against infiltration, the float can be said to be made with a triple
protection chamber. Upon request, the TITANIO switch can be used in the presence of oils; in this case,
it will be equipped with a suitable power cord.
