• Summary of the story :

It's a story that happened under the New York sky
About the hope that comes in the midst of despair ...
About the dream that survives among the doubt ...
And about the love that gives reason to
survive…

Alex Hirano initially felt nothing special in his life, his activity just spinning from his music
and piano. But that's all changed since he met the girl that Ray Hirano said to his sister, as the
girl he likes. Mia Clark, since the first time she met, Alex already felt the girl was a disaster
for her, like an angel of darkness that could at any time hurt her. What Alex had said was not
without reason, Mia Clark had left her left hand unscrupulous in their first encounter, falling
from the top of the stairs to Alex.
Whatever fate might have bound Alex and Mia, who must have never since liked Mia ever
since, she always felt that she could hurt her anytime, she did not care if her sister had such
special feelings for her. which is clear to him to be away from the girl who made all his
concert plans messy with injuring his hands, is the best choice.
Unfortunately Alex's wish to distance herself from Mia who later dubbed as 'The Angel of
Darkness' did not go as expected. Mia, who feels so guilty for injuring precious hands from a
famous pianist, continues to offer her help to Alex, "I can be your left hand." That's what the
girl said. Alex clearly rejected the girl's suggestion, she felt it would be better not to get in
touch with the girl she thought would be able to hurt her more. But the idea did not last long,
all the trouble and inconvenience Alex got in the move with one hand, making Alex
inevitably very forced to accept Mia offer. And he started placing Mia as 'messenger and
housekeeper'
At first nothing worked well with Alex and Mia's relationship then. Alex is still upset with
Mia who has made him not like a disabled person. Mia who thinks Alex is too excessive with
injuries in her hands, never being friendly to each other. Until she finally found out
interesting things about the girl, she was even fascinated to see the girl dancing in front of
him, one thing Alex had never planned to feel.
As time went on, slowly Alex began to like Mia's smile, slowly starting to depend on Mia,
slowly beginning to feel Mia's presence was very important to her, and she began to feel
Mia's very special girl, until at last she felt able to compete with his sister Ray to keep Mia's
presence nearby.
But in the midst of all the feelings Alex felt, he always felt there was a great doubt about
Mia's feelings for her. She was always smiling, talking and staring in the same way to
everyone, making Alex not feel privileged by Mia. Despite all the doubts, Alex found another
fact that ruined all her hopes, a painful fact from Mia's condition that led her to lose Mia
forever.
The end of the story, Mia Clark can not adapt well with her new heart and so it is her last
breath. Alex Hirano certainly can not hide his sense of loss. But a final message from Mia
Clark makes Alex Hirano believe and stand back.
"Although there is nothing else in the world you can trust, believe me I love you. All of my
heart."

 Authorship
If you are a fan of metropop fiction novels, would you be familiar with Ilana Tan's name?
Yes, a mysterious figure who powers his success in the pernovelan world thanks to his
season-themed tetralogy, Spring in London, Summer in Seoul, Autumn in Paris, Winter in
Tokyo and last Sunshine Becomes You. Ilana Tan is a writer who does not want to know his
identity by the public. He only uses the pen name as his identifier. Until now the absence of a
fact that writes about his identity. Some opinions in social media and on the internet say that
Ilana Tan has died, Ilana Tan's author is not there, aka Ilana Tan's authored books were
written by some people who really meant to "sell" Ilana Tan's name. In other words, the
project together with eyeing popularity. Well, from all of that opinion I do not take a
headache because I personally think Ilana Tan is keeping his personal identity because he
only wants to be known through his works and he does not want his personal affairs to be
disturbed because his fans who could be out of bounds if they meet Ilana Tan

 Advantages and Weaknesses

1. Excellence
Through the novel Sunshine Becomes You, Ilana Tan managed to lift a romantic touching
love story that is set in New York. The theme raised is very prominent of romance. The story
is an ordinary love story, but in drawing very interesting. Writing styles and languages that
flow beautifully make readers follow dissolve in the emotions conveyed by the author well.
The love story in the lift was very romantic and sweet, but not excessive. Disclosure of the
flow and the background so detailed makes the reader as if to witness and feel for themselves
all that happened in this novel story, besides the character description of the characters more
clearly in the appeal of four novel season. In terms of physical, this novel has a cover that can
attract attention, especially women

2. Weakness
Although the story in the novel is described with interesting, but the story is very easy to
guess the reader. By reading the beginning of the story, the reader can directly guess where
the plot is. This makes the novel a bit of a hit without any surprising hits, though sometimes
there are different things that this novel presents. In addition, I was less able to feel in terms
of conflict.
In this novel, Tan ilana seems to be in a hurry in the process. This I stated because I do not
really get the feel at the end of the story. In physical terms, in this novel is also often a typing
error. In addition, the selection of words that are less effective, sometimes makes the reader
feel confused understand the intentions submitted by the author. The author also wasted the
location setting he chose. I do not find the author's attempt to get the readers to feel the
atmosphere of Big Apple, New York. And the last one scene in the story that makes me
wonder. How can someone with one arm still bandaged can lift someone else? (p. 248). Even
the person is not given a picture of the expression of pain / difficulty when doing so.
Somewhat less logical, in my opinion.

 Conclusion
Overall, I am very fascinated and enjoy the story that flows smoothly by combining the
elements of romance in every story. And again, Ilana Tan managed to stir the emotions of my
soul and feelings through her writing and made me very curious about her figure.

 Suggestions
For those of you who love the romantic romance novel, Sunshine Becomes You novel is
perfect for you to read. Not only presents a romance story, this novel also tells how to fight
for a hope even though the hope appears in the midst of despair and doubt.

DEAR NATHAN

Format : Paperback,
Number of pages : 520 pages

Genre : Romance, School Life
Age Range : Teenagers

Starting from the delay of a girl following the first ceremony at the new school, Salma Alvira
meets a man who helps her through the side gate.

After the investigation, the man was named Nathan, a bad boy who is often the subject of
gossip students one school.
"In high school if you do not have a student like Nathan mah not exclamation, not felt gray
white. If all the kids in this school are calm, surely they will not be rame. "- rahma - p. 79.

Like what our life ahead, no one knows what it will be like. So also with Salma's life that
changed drastically when she moved to her new school that is Garuda high school.

His friends are not as passionate as in his old school. Some of them have an emotional and
rowdy nature, including Nathan.

Nathan did not think he could finally fall in love with Salma, the new kid who seemed to
want to cry when he was late for school.

If, according to Nathan, being late is normal for him, it turns out to be much different if the
situation is confronted by a sweet woman who makes her turn into a feelingful man.

"Though I look like a rogue. But I really appreciate women. The woman is like glass, if
cracked it will crack for life and guns will not be back as before. Either way. "- Nathan - p.
95.
Nathan just realized, falling in love with an innocent woman who has never been dating so
that quite exhausting energy. At first he was very excited to pursue his love.

However, would Nathan be forever enjoying the pursuit of his love if Salma kept on ignoring
him?

"And if the owner of your heart is me, wherever you go, the heart will surely return true
ownership and God has a thousand ways to unite us again. But if it does not belong to my
heart? God also has many ways to find you with others. "- Nathan - p. 486.

It was not only the love that gave color to Nathan's life, but there was also a great problem
that he had long faced, the very difficult family matter that Nathan felt was hard to bear.

The loss of the very person in his affection, which is abandoned by his father, and many more
problems facing Nathan.

"Nath, this world is full of sadness and tears. If you just focus on your own wounds, there are
many wonderful things you've been through. "-Seli-hal. 473.

Dear Nathan's novel, the gray white story is so sweet that you will miss the high school years.

So teenagers are part of life that will not be forgotten. The times in which we find the
identity, so want to freelance, and just know about what love is.

Although the theme that is carried is often encountered in other novels, but Nathan's character
is the best judgment in this novel.
The author succeeded in creating a character that lulled the readers. How he behaved, his
behavior, his ignorance, and how Nathan when with Salma all seemed very interesting.

Nathan, it's a badboy guy but not a playboy. It seems to be finding a new thought if not all
badboys are playboys.

Naughty children like Nathan should not be enemies, because there's always a reason that
makes them a naughty child.

There is much wrong in understanding children like this. Therefore, bad boys scolded instead
of getting better and obedient even more so.

Salma's innocent, clever, sweet, and subtle character, does appear to be counter-conscious
with Nathan, but because the contrast becomes more interesting.
Novel Excellence Dear Nathan

I myself like the way rival salma is in front of Nathan. His innocence over the first love that
entered into the heart, for gma become more sweet and deserve to be the target of love
Nathan.

In essence, if the character issue has been successfully created strong character characters,
focus only on the figure of the assembly, for the supporting figures are little bit, the author
can give them the characteristic of each character.

The storyline in this novel also makes sense. The stages of the conflict can be tried well and
the solution is quite clear.

A lot of science we can take from this novel. namely about sacrifice, about love, friendship,
even about wanting to accept the stars and the meaning of forgiving.
Novel Shortage Dear Nathan

Novel Shortage Dear Nathan this is the way the author makes a narration. Some feel
excessive and sometimes the selection dicsinya feels less fit.

The narrative is also too spinning. Some words are still typo and use non-standard words.

This novel was originated from wattpad. There have been several changes in this edition of
the print. The changes are like some of Salma's friends. Then Nathan talks to Salma using my
word and you.

The use of my word and you feel less fit for some readers because of the way Nathan talks
using me and you, instead of generating the true figure of Nathan.
Actually, if some of the above is more attention when in the editing process, surely this novel
will be included in the history of best-selling novels Indonesia.

"... life is like a spice. If everything is sweet, baseball would be delicious. But, God
deliberately provide splash-splash in life, so you know how the sensation of pleasure "

Excess Novel:
· A novel that combines a love story with design science.
· Promises written in beautiful and simple language.
· Alurceritanya arranged neatly and make curious.
· Suitable for young subjects who are afflicted by romance.
· Romanticism is raised in every part of the story,
also descriptions of figures and movements of interest
· Covernovelnya also match with romantisme in it.
· The design of each page is quite unique and interesting.

Weaknesses Novel:
· Emphasis (mostly to describe the feelings of the characters) makes the reader feel
personally repeat. And it happened several times.
· Can be guessed finally, they finally get together again.
Personal Feedback:
In addition to a smoldering love story, Promises, Promises tells the story of the interior
design. The author discusses in detail how an elegant house is made. Promises, Promises is a
novel that combines story love with the science of design. Reading sentences by sentence
written in this novel made me gain new knowledge, especially in the field of interpersonal.
After reading the novel Promises, I began to understand that: Life is not just a game (which
can be laughed at), but life is also a struggle, a struggle to achieve dreams.
The author of this book tells it very lightly and touch. It seems as if sucked into the figure
Fiona, crying, pounding, all the emotions that are conveyed and felt alive. Since Fiona is an
interior designer in this story, the author also describes the ambience of the room, the shape
of the house, the interior, and all the components of the house in detail, which may be to
other readers a bit boring, but to me it's a unique, unique and interesting part.
And the beautiful words that make me remember this novel are:
"If I only couldmake one wish, I'd ask God to not give you a pair of wings, so you couldn'tfly
away from me any longer"

Book Review:

The Short Note for a Long Love is a note of the author's love journey-Billy Candra and the
people around him, packed through short stories of happiness, sadness, disappointment and
sincerity. This book is also the third book as well as the first non-fiction book written by the
author published Mediakita in 2014.

Reading this book is like I'm reading my own story because it's written like we're writing our
grievances in a diary book. There are four main titles with each title with their own story /
experience. Moreover, written by a guy who notebenen sure - which we know - experiencing
problems of mediocrity is different from women, this book I think has its own appeal. The
language and writing are light, not long-winded. Written indeed what it looks like. Even in
our own lives we often encounter the same thing.

Judging from the look of his book is packed in a box that resembles a small bag with a unique
shape, as well as a sweet cover fit to match the romance stories written by the author dibuku
this.

This novel is very suitable for all to read. People who are in love, people who are
experiencing a broken heart, in pain-hurt, also for those who have a complicated romance
story. Because in this novel many constructive and encouraging sentences are also motivating
to their readers. In addition, the way of delivery is also not like being patronizing, so it is
suitable to be read by people who do not like the heavy reading.

Behind the success is also as interesting as any book there must be the slightest shortcomings
of it. For this book because it is like we are reading a diary sometimes we experience
boredom and boredom. In some sections nearing the end of the book sheets, the reader will
find a similar story / story that will make me want to end it soon. But behind a little
shortcomings, this book is worthy for you to make your reading material next. Because
reading this book we know what the world is like this colorful he said. Just as romance does
not all experience a beautiful thing. There are times when it is also a bad thing in our lives.

REVIEW MOVIE “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST”

Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" is a live-action re-telling of the studio's animated classic
which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary
audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.
"Beauty and the Beast" is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent
young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends
the castle's enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast's hideous exterior and realize
the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within. The film stars: Emma Watson as Belle; Dan
Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos
Belle; Oscar (R) winner Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle's eccentric, but lovable father; Josh
Gad as Lefou, Gaston's long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe (R) nominee Ewan
McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the
harpsichord; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time
Academy Award (R) winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts. Directed by Oscar
(R) winner Bill Condon based on the 1991 animated film, "Beauty and the Beast" is produced
by Mandeville Films' David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, with eight-time Oscar-winning
composer Alan Menken, who won two Academy Awards (R) (Best Original Score and Best
Song) for the 1991 animated film, providing the score, which will include new recordings of
the original songs written by Menken and Howard Ashman, as well as several new songs
written by Menken and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice. "Beauty and the Beast" will be
released in U.S. theaters on March 17, 2017.

After the success of Disney live action films such as Maleficent and The Jungle Book, Disney
increasingly heavily produces the films live action format. Most recently, The Walt Disney
Studios produces a live action film entitled Beauty and the Beast. Starring Emma Watson,
Dan Stevens, and Luke Evans, this classic fairy tale adaptation film has made many people
curious, especially for Disney movie lovers.

Beauty and the Beast is adapted from the legendary tale, Tale as Old as Time, which was also
made animated version in 1991. In addition to the success of two Oscars, Gary Trousdale's
directed film is also crowned as one of the most popular animated films of all time.

Not much different from the animated version, the storyline remake of Beauty and the Beast
will follow the journey of a girl named Belle (Emma Watson) who lives with her father,
Maurice (Kevin Kline). Belle's unique habits of reading books and anti-social villagers look
at him. But the charm of Belle was a young man named Gaston (Luke Evans) infatuated.
Assisted by his best friend, LeFou (Josh Gad), Gaston can feel love in every way.

Once, Maurice was stuck in trouble. He was arrested by a monster, Beast (Dan Stevens) in a
castle. Belle could not see his father tormented, without thinking he was willing to replace
Maurice as a prisoner of Beast. Belle initially thought the Beast was an evil monster. But as
time went on, Belle began to see goodness in the heart of the Beast. Assisted by the antique
who was the accomplice of the Beast in his castle, the two then began to get along with each
other.
Like his story, before turning into a monster, Beast is a handsome and wealthy prince.
Because of his pride, the Beast was cursed by a beautiful wizard into an ugly figure. As a
condition to break the curse, the Beast must find his true love before the last petals of the
roses fall.

Is Belle the true love of Beast? Could he break the curse before the last rose petals fell? The
answer must be guessed. Which is the question is Could Bill Condon as the film director to
pack the live version of his action for the better?

The cast is almost perfect

Emma Watson, definitely is the right Belle. The original character that has been captivated
from nature and (coincidence) have a habit of hooked reading books, making Emma as if no
need to bother playing the character of Belle. It's just that this role also reminds us of his
character as Hermione Granger who once played in francise film Harry Potter. Beautiful,
smart, and brave. It's so Emma!
In addition to being pampered with the charm of Emma Watson, you will also be entertained
with other characters that are not less steal the show. In the live action version of the Beast
character looks more frightening. Beast comes with a more frightening look, fingernails and
sharp fangs, and heavy sounds that make the impression Beast more sinister, especially in the
early days of its emergence. Meanwhile, the character Gaston also successfully played by
Luke Evans who is able to display with good pride Gaston.

Like other live action films, Beauty and the Beast can not be separated from the touch of
CGI. Unfortunately the sweep of CGI on Beast appearance and some animals look less
smooth. The film also tends to lift the feel of the dark, but quickly change along with the
displacement setting of the story. Thumbs up should be pinned on the artistic team and
wardrobe that is able to display the feel of a typical fairy tale Disney. As in the animated film,
the film also takes the setting of a story in a village in France. But if you are observant, you
will definitely feel strange with Belle's style of speech is thick with a British accent when he
lived in France. But never mind too much, just enjoy the beauty of the movie.

Behind all the controversy, especially because it contains characters LGBT, Beauty and the
Beast proved successful featuring beautiful musical films, let alone the songs that are
displayed also successfully make us nostalgic. For the record, do not expect more in terms of
the story, because the packaging is made almost similar to the animated version. This film
also successfully make us fascinated, just not offer a new thing.

The years between 1900 and the outbreak of World War I, it has often been remarked, were a
golden age in Britain for the writing of children’s books. Among the books published then are
most of what we remember of Beatrix Potter; several of E. Nesbit’s novels; Kipling’s “Jungle
Book” and “Just So” stories, J. M. Barrie’s “Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens,” which
became the basis for the stage play; Kenneth Grahame’s “Wind in the Willows”; and “A
Little Princess” and “The Secret Garden,” by Frances Hodgson Burnett, who eventually
became an American citizen but was born in Manchester, England. In hindsight these books
seem to reflect the long, sunny afternoon of Edwardian England, a moment of arrested
innocence before the outbreak of the Great War. Many of them also yearn for a rural,
preindustrial England that was already vanishing. Part of their appeal is that they’re nostalgic,
as we are, for childhood itself, or for a simpler past that seems to embody childhood virtue.

Of all these books “The Wind in the Willows” may be the oddest and most endearing. Too
late for the centennial of its original publication in 1908, but a century and a half after the
birth of the author, it has been reissued in two large-format annotated editions — one edited
by Seth Lerer and published by the Belknap imprint of Harvard University Press, the other
edited by Annie Gauger and published by Norton as part of its well-established series that
already includes “Alice in Wonderland,” “The Wizard of Oz,” and three volumes of Sherlock
Holmes.

“The Wind in the Willows” is probably most famous for a single line, Rat’s remark to Mole:
“Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing — absolutely nothing — half so much worth
doing as simply messing about in boats.” But the boating adventures, charming as they are,
are the least of what makes the book so singular. “The Wind in the Willows” is a children’s
book that, unlike most, doesn’t describe a world without grownups; instead, it parodies the
grownup world. The characters — Rat, Mole, Badger, Otter, Toad — aren’t just woodland
creatures with a few anthropomorphic traits. They’re of indeterminate scale — Toad is toad-
size in some scenes but in others big enough to disguise himself as a human — and they have
full-blown adult personalities, more nearly Edwardian clubmen than rodents, burrow-
dwelling mammals or amphibians. Toad, who has certain traits in common with the
overweight, fun-loving King Edward, even parts his hair in the middle, a detail that Beatrix
Potter famously took exception to. “A frog may wear galoshes,” she wrote. “But I don’t hold
with toads wearing beards or wigs!”

The adventures depicted in the book include the famous riverine idylls and a couple of almost
equally well-known scenes of cozy underground bachelor life, which Mr. Lerer says owe
something to Ruskin’s ideal of British domesticity. There are also the much wilder episodes
of Toad’s manic car theft and car smashing; a Bolshevik takeover of Toad’s great manor
house, Toad Hall, by the lower-class stoats and weasels; and, most bizarre of all, a moment of
sexual and religious ecstasy when Mole and Rat behold, in the silvery, creeping light of
dawn, no less than a naked, shaggy-flanked goat god, Pan himself, taking a break from his
piping.

This scene is so charged that Ms. Gauger detects an element of homoeroticism. But then she,
by far the more extensive and detailed of the two annotators, is quick to find an erotic subtext
throughout a work that Grahame declared to be “free of the clash of sex.” After Toad and
Mole companionably spend the night together, she notes, “If this were a novel for adults,
Mole and Rat would perhaps consummate their relationship amorously.”

This kind of observation is indicative of the problems inherent in annotating a classic text,
even one as well known as this. On the one hand, parts of the cultural landscape that inspired
the book are already lost to us, and there are echoes and allusions that we remain deaf to even
after having them pointed out, others that we are apt to misinterpret from our habit of seeing
sex everywhere. On the other hand, the book is still perfectly readable without pedantic notes
or explanations, and Ms. Gauger’s edition, in particular, is so laden with commentary that it
sometimes resembles the Talmud, with more commentary than text on the page.

Both editors devote vast amounts of space to defining words like “panoply,” “repast,”
“provender,” “vouchsafe,” “sniffy,” “fusty,” “hummocky” that are all in the dictionary and
whose meaning hasn’t changed much, if at all, since 1908. And neither is entirely reliable:
both think that a “well-metalled road” is one literally paved with metal when a glance at
Google would have told them that the term is a synonym for what we think of as tarmac.

Both editors, to be fair, are very good at picking up echoes of Romantic poetry, huge chunks
of which were clearly swirling inside Kenneth Grahame’s head while he was writing “The
Wind in the Willows,” and both illuminate the text by suggesting, among other things, that
Toad — blusterer, aesthete, jailed prisoner — was inspired in part by Oscar Wilde. He
probably also owes something to Horatio Bottomley, a flamboyant, gasbag journalist and
politician of the time. Mr. Lerer further suggests that Toad’s mania, his grandiosity, his
compulsive lies and self-deceptions may derive from Grahame’s reading in Krafft-Ebbing’s
“Textbook of Insanity.” A simpler explanation of Grahame’s understanding of wild,
unpredictable personality may be that he grew up with an unreliable, alcoholic father who
eventually abandoned his two sons.

In general Ms. Gauger is more willing than Mr. Lerer to find the roots of “The Wind in the
Willows” in Grahame’s biography, and though she sometimes overdoes it, or explains the
parallels at tedious length, her commentary nevertheless provides a sad and illuminating
subplot of sorts. In many ways Grahame resembles A. A. Milne, who in 1929 dramatized the
Toad sections of “The Wind in the Willows,” which always remained his favorite book. Both,
though they had little use for women, were married to remote, difficult wives (Grahame
courted his by writing to her in baby talk), and each had a single son whom he both doted on
and neglected.
“The Wind in the Willows” began as a bedtime story and evolved over a series of letters
(reproduced in the Gauger edition) that Grahame wrote to his son, Alastair, during the long
months when he was farmed out to a nanny. Alastair Grahame was born part blind (an
inspiration for Mole?) and appears to have been emotionally disturbed. After a miserable
experience at school he lay down on some train tracks while an undergraduate at Oxford and
was decapitated.

Kenneth Grahame’s own early life was scarcely much happier. His mother died when he was
5, his father ran off, and he was raised by relatives who were too stingy to send him to
university. Like P. G. Wodehouse, another aspiring writer with a blighted childhood,
Grahame went into the banking business. Unlike Wodehouse, he stuck it out, and by the age
of 39 had risen to become secretary of the Bank of England, a post that doesn’t seem to have
required him to do a whole lot.

His ostensible life was that of a proper Edwardian gent, with lots of male bonding and
messing about in boats, and yet privately he burned to write, to live in his imagination. For all
its apparent celebration of neatness and domestic orderliness “The Wind in the Willows” is
really a book about letting go. It begins with Mole, tired of spring cleaning, putting aside his
whitewash brush and taking to the road, and its true hero is Toad, who is anarchy incarnate.

Officially the text seems to disapprove of him: vain, swaggering and boastful, Toad is
reprimanded and briefly chastened, and at one point the other characters even stage what we
would call a full-scale intervention to confront him with his car-wrecking addiction. But he
nonetheless runs away with the book, just as he runs away from prison disguised as a
washerwoman, and supplies most of its narrative energy.

Though Rat is supposed to be a poet, Toad’s Song of Himself, sung to an imaginary audience
near the end, is the novel’s most exuberant creation. To say that he is Grahame’s alter ego is
too simple. More likely he’s the alter ego Grahame wished he could have but was also a little
afraid of. Like a surprising number of stuffy-seeming Edwardians, Grahame was half in love
with, and half terrified of, the idea of Pan, who never grows old, never goes to the office,
never even bothers to put on clothes, and yet embodies all that is magical about the world we
imagined we grew up in.

SMURFS “THE LOST VILLAGE”

In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and
her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the
Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil
wizard Gargamel does. Embarking on a rollercoaster journey full of action and danger, the
Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history!

Almost 90 minutes long, Sony Pictures' decision to turn Smurf into full animation is well
worth it. The sheets of Peyo's comic papers are truly alive and ready to pamper the eyes of
the audience in the children through their colorful visuals. Not only that, compare the
feminine Katy Perry as Smurfette in the Live-Action version, Demi Lovato instead make
Smurfette characters in "Smurfs: The Lost Village" more tomboy and somewhat tough. The
jokes that make a laugh will still color the film through the hilarious action of Clumsy and
Hefty and Brainy are classified as tech nerds. Current trends like selfie was not separated in
this film. The plot itself is easy to understand by kids and when possible, the 3D format
should be tried because there are some scenes that if witnessed in 3D will feel more pop-up.

Asbury also created a twist that opens up the possibility of a sequel (perhaps, why not). This
movie OST is also quite good in every scene that comes from "Heroes (We Could Be)"
brought Dj Alesso feat Tove Lo to Delirious popularized by Steve Aoki. Scoring from
Christopher Lennertz is also able to accompany the audience in each scenenya. "Smurfs: The
Lost Village" also has a good moral message for children. Do not miss also a little during
credit scene that is quite interesting for those who hate Gargamel. Overall, the treatment to
the animated form of Smurfs managed to restore the true essence that is there in Smurfs in
comics by Peyo.

SONG “ADELLE - ALL I ASK”

"All I Ask" is a song recorded by English singer and songwriter Adele for her third studio
album 25 (2015). The song was written by Adele, Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence and
Christopher Brody Brown, while production of the track was handled by The Smeezingtons,
a songwriting and record producing trio, consisting of Mars, Lawrence, and Ari Levine.
According to Slate's Forrest Wickman, the song lyrically discusses the singer looking for one
last night with a lover, before they go their separate ways.

"All I Ask" peaked at number 41 on the UK Singles Chart and at number 77 on the Billboard
Hot 100. To promote the song, Adele performed "All I Ask" during Adele Live in New York
City, on The Late Late Show with James Corden, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and at the
58th Annual Grammy Awards. The latter performance garnered controversy due to technical
issues; Adele stated afterwards that the piano microphones fell on to the piano strings,
causing the glitch.

The battle is one side. Because Cao Cao win in numbers than the other warlords. But The
southern warlord do not falter, because they have Zhuge Liang that genius Ni strategy and
tactic, the actor who casting as Zhuge Liang is Takeshi Kanesiro, i am big fans of him. He so

In the end Cao Cao’s army defeated by Sun Quan-Liu Bei alliance eventhough the battle is
one sided, the winner is Sun Quan-Liu Bei alliance that inferior in numbers.

Evaluation:

I think this is an inspirational movie which can motivate people to don’t giving up so easily
even we face great handicap, we must fight for it, struggle and do not give up. The script
writer is successful to bring a set of interesting conflicts which make the plot of this movie
become alive and also the actor and actress who play profesional and make the movie more
alive.

The acting of Chelsea Islan (Merry Riana) in thit movie is very good. She can impersonate

Orientation
I absolutely love the Harry Potter series, and all of the books will always hold a
special place in my heart.

Evaluasi 1
I have to say that of all of the books, however, this was not my favorite.

Evaluasi 2
When the series began it was as much of a "feel good" experience as a huge mug of
hot cocoa. The stories were bright, fast-paced, intriguing, and ultimately satisfying.

Interpretation
Order of the Phoenix is a different kind of book. In some instances this works...you
feel a whole new level of intensity and excitement by the time you get to the end. I
was truly moved by the last page. Other times the book just has a slightly dreary,
depressing feel. The galloping pace of the other books has slowed to a trot here, and
parts of it do seem long, as if we're reading all about Harry "just hanging out" instead
of having his usual adventures. Reading in detail about Harry cleaning up an old
house, for example - housekeeping is still housekeeping, magical or no, and I'm not
very interested in doing it or reading about other people doing it.

A few other changes in this book - the "real" world comes much more in to play
rather than the fantasy universe of the previous books, and Harry has apparently been
taken off his meds. I know that he had a lot to be grumpy in this book, especially with
being a teenager and all, but the sudden change in his character seemed too drastic.
He goes from being a warm-hearted, considerate person to someone who will bite his
best friend's heads off over nothing. It just seemed like it didn't fit with his character,
like he turned into a walking cliché of the "angry teen" overnight.

Summary
The "real" story seemed to happen in the last 1/3 of the book, and this part I loved. I
actually liked the ending (and yes, I cried!) as sad as it was. It packed a punch and it
made me care about the story even more. Still a really good book, with some editing it
would have been great.

Alabama Shakes: "Don't Wanna Fight"

The alluringly murky production on the Shakes' new cut evokes the kind of schmutz-caked
soul 45 you might discover in a rural junk shop that also sells M-80 explosives and candied
hog jowls — the perfect funky feel for Brittany Howard's beef-squashing plea. Over a guitar
line that recalls James Brown's "Cold Sweat," she shouts and hollers and hits a five-alarm
falsetto that would take the Mick Jagger of "Miss You" on a backwoods ride, bending history
to her will with a force few singers can match.

Brian eno f.t kevin shield “Only Once Away My Son”

When word surfaced of a collaboration between Brian Eno and Kevin Shields, a few
questions sprang to mind. First: What took them so long? The ambient-music guru and the
My Bloody Valentine mastermind have immersed themselves in neighboring oceans of sound
for decades; Eno even worked with MBV’s fellow shoegaze godheads Slowdive on Souvlaki,
their iconic 1993 album. And if anyone could cure Shields of his interminable perfectionism,
it’s the inventor of the quintessential tool for breaking musicians’ creative block, the
“Oblique Strategies” card set. Next question: What type of collaboration would this be?

Eno’s most famous partnerships (David Bowie’s Low, U2’s Unforgettable Fire) filtered his
collaborators’ songwriting visions through his erudite lens, but “Only Once Away My Son” is
more a meeting of the minds, like his work with David Byrne or Robert Fripp. For nine-odd
mind-bending minutes, what you’d guess are Shields’ sub-aquatic drones meld with what are
presumably Eno’s gamelan-like chimes, contorting themselves into breathtaking shapes. With
its decaying hums, low-end rumblings, and coruscating clatter, the instrumental track may not
be groundbreaking for them, but it’s familiar in the best way. The biggest question: Is this
good? Unequivocally, yes.
Taylor Swift’s ‘Gorgeous’

It appears the “old Taylor” can come to the phone after all. For anyone hoping for a more
conventional Taylor Swift single from her forthcoming sixth album, “Reputation,” the third
time’s the charm, as “Gorgeous” finally provides some of the conventional pleasures that
only a pop song about falling deeply in crush can.

Not that “Gorgeous” (released at the stroke of midnight Friday, in advance of the album’s
Nov. 10 drop) would ever be mistaken for an outtake from “Fearless.” Producers Max Martin
and Shellback have taken the track’s musical bed in the same deep electro-throb direction of
the two preceding singles released from the album, “Look What You Made Me Do” and
“…Ready for It?” It doesn’t even involve the currently trendy trick of combining electronic
and acoustic instruments: If you’re looking for an “organic” element in the arrangement, you
might have to settle for that split second pause between the verse and chorus, when we get
what sounds suspiciously like… a triangle solo.

Gwen Stefani with Pharrell Williams: "Shine"

A decade after Gwen Stefani and Pharrell collaborated on dance-floor banger "Hollaback
Girl," they're steeping their emotions on a pop-reggae allegory about a bear with an identity
crisis for their contribution to the Paddington soundtrack. As improbable as the premise
sounds, parents can enjoy it almost as much as their kids. It's even moderately easy to
overlook the corny lyrics, thanks to the song's party-vibe production and "Shiiine" hook
(partially because the melody recalls the Cranberries' "Zombie" chorus). Even Pharrell's
"Happy"-ish "Everybody is the same inside" bridge fits in a lonely bear reference without
sounding overly patronizing.

ColdplayParadise

COLDPLAY
Paradise (4:38)

Capitol

Boiling strings, rattling synthesizers, bass-heavy beats -- has Coldplay made a Kanye West
record? Not exactly, but "Paradise," the new single from their upcoming fifth studio album,
"Mylo Xyloto," does bring a few new tricks to the table. For the lightweight chorus, Chris
Martin dangles the title word ("Para-para-paradise") like a squirming fish on a hook. The rest
of the words are not much more descriptive - Martin sings about a girl wanting to escape into
her own dreams amidst a bleak landscape -- but Coldplay's main appeal has never been
within the band's lyrical content. Musically, "Paradise" suggests a massive budget, with Will
Champion's hard-hitting percussion sounding particularly lavish. Rock fans that couldn't get
behind Viva La Vida probably won't appreciate "Paradise," but the track is another slice of
warm-hug ecstasy for fans who have been onboard since "Yellow."

rom war to war, only the proper nouns change. Boys with no idea what they’re in for, barely
past schooling age, still get seduced by the promise of military camaraderie and the sense of
purpose it affords. The harsh reality of combat still grinds the spirit right out of them –
sometimes gradually over a span of months, sometimes in the course of five harrowing
minutes – until only a hollow shell remains. And they still bring the battle home with them,
forced to reintegrate into a society that doesn’t know what to do with them, and isn’t
particularly concerned with figuring that out. These emotional processes haven’t evolved
much since humankind first got organized about killing itself, and even more regrettably,
neither has the government’s response.

American Sniper
Jason Hall’s directorial debut Thank You For Your Service doesn’t suss out any truths not
already covered by such forebears as All Quiet on the Western Front and The Best Years of
Our Lives. To cite a more recent example, Hall trains his focus on three men not unlike Chris
Kyle, the subject of American Sniper (which Hall scripted). That film grew to an unlikely hit
for its political charge, daring the audience to pick a side in the most polarizing American
overseas conflict since Vietnam. It set itself apart from the herd through specificity, passing
judgment not just on capital-W War, but that war. His latest effort, conversely, loses impact
by drifting away from its time and place. Hall spends 100 minutes observing the same
deleterious symptoms of military service, and never once pauses to consider their shifting
causes.

With a lack of detail rooting them to their cultural moment, the challenges faced by soldiers
Adam, Tausolo and Will (Miles Teller, Beulah Koale and Joe Cole, respectively) end up as
interchangeable and disposable as the army considers the men themselves to be. The trio of
field brothers get sent back to the States following a bloody shootout with unseen insurgent
forces, toting with them souvenirs of PTSD, survivor’s guilt and general mental infirmity.
Fate deals them individual turbulences upon what they had assumed would be a triumphant
return: Adam’s unprepared for the demands of fatherhood, Solo is so hard up for money that
he falls in with a local gang (the least-believably-written bit in a film riddled with vague
approximations of real life) and Will’s greeted by an empty home and a traitorous fiancee.
The men all face their tribulations the same way, just as countless have before them – with
silence and repression.

Of course, all they’ve got to do is open up and accept the systems of support at their disposal,
but that much is easier said than done. Adam’s relationship with wife Saskia (The Girl on the
Trainstar Haley Bennett) dominates most of the run time, as she continually pounds on the
sealed door to her husband’s hardened heart. Teller’s figured out how to project a closed-off
demeanor without coming off as dim, a hurdle many fellow actors have yet to clear, and
Bennett still acts circles around him as his long-suffering spouse. Hers might just be the more
compelling internal struggle; it’s her responsibility to support Adam during this trying time,
but as an essentially single mother realizing the man she fell in love with may be irrevocably
altered, she’s got to shoulder her own pain as well. The ladies generally get more to gnaw on
than their male co-stars; even Amy Schumer comes through in the clutch as a widow learning
to let go of her anger while holding on to her grief.

Hall identifies one fresh war-picture adversary in the elaborate bureaucracy seemingly set up
to distance veterans from the benefits they are owed. Solo stands out as the most mentally
rattled of the three, short-term memories slipping right through his mind’s grasp, and his
every effort to help himself gets stonewalled by an unfeeling and overtaxed system. Veterans
must use days that would otherwise be spent hunting for scarce jobs waiting in lines that lead
them to other lines, only to discover that their embarrassingly poor medical plans won’t kick
in for another six to nine months. If, that is, the arbitrary policy codes dictate that a given
soldier is indeed eligible for care, which can grow into an entire ordeal all its own. But, again,
Hall’s got no interest in pointing fingers at the parties responsible for this lamentable system.
Unfeeling and unchangeable, the paperwork might as well be weather in his estimation.

Hall’s marching in lockstep with a lengthy platoon of directors who have already blazed this
same path through enemy territory. And though he’s got some upstanding troops at his
disposal, his plan of attack lacks that crucial unexpected element that can take an opposing
battalion – or an audience – off guard. War is hell, it’s been said. We should be able to feel
the heat.

Try- Colbie Caillat

Try is a song from an american singer-songwriter, Colbie Caillat, in her fifth album entitled
“Gypsy Heart”. This song was written by Caillat, Babyface, and Jason Reeves. It was
released in June 2014.

This song is a pop song with a ballad midtempo. The instruments used are full of gently
accoustic guitar, and minimal piano. It is a nice combination with Caillat’s soft vocal. The
music video of this song involves female fans and artists, such as Sara Bareilles, Jessie J,
Christina Perri, Sheryl Crow, and others, without any makeup on. From the lyric, Caillat
wants to promote about the real and natural beauty.
You can look to the this lyric “Put your makeup on/Get you nails done/Curl your hair/Run the
extra mile/Keep it slim, so they like you, do they like you?”. It explains how women try to
beautify themselves to make other people happy and love them. Then, in the chorus she sings
“You don’t have to try so hard/ You don’t have to give all away/ You just have to get up, get
up, get up/ You don’t have to change a single thing.” In that point, Caillat tries to persuade
women not to push themselves to be beautiful. They don’t have to change themselves into
someone else because they already have their natural beauty. They just need to be confident
and proud of themselves.
I conclude that this song is really cool with its very positive message to all of women in this
world. Keep positive thinking and enjoy this song.
Grenade- bruno mars
Orientation:
Grenade is a song by bruno mars. Bruno mars is a latin. It’s been one of top song in
2011, but this song became famous when one of Talent Competion’s contestant sang it. Her
name is fatin shidqia lubis. This song categorized as sad song
Intepretative recount
There is a men that love her girlfriend very much. He wants do anything for the girl
like jump to in front of the train, shoot his head, throw his hand to a blade, even catch a
grenade for her. But the girl betray him. When the men goes to his girlfriend house with a
piano that he wanted to play for the girl, he found his girlfriend with other men.
Evaluation
Bruno mars's voice is so great. It can touch our heart and shakes our soul. The Story
of this song is very good because it can describe what we feel when we are betrayed. The
lyrics uses very cool sentence like “i will take a bullet straight to my brain, for you”. The
Video clip is so unique because there is men that bring a very big piano to his girlfriend’s
house just for entertain his girfriend.
But, with all of goodness, this song has a bad side. There are to many character in the video
clip that not related to the story, so maybe the audients will confuse with that.
Evaluative Summation
This song is very great. It almost be complete song. The voice of the singer is very good, the
story is so alive, the lyrics is so cool, and the video clip is so unique. This song is very great

Studios are constantly in search of the next "Twilight," "The Hunger Games," or
"Harry Potter" franchise, with best-selling books being the primary source of episodic
additions. They've found just such a novel (an entire trilogy by Veronica Roth),
containing the similarities and elements so highly coveted – but originality definitely
isn't one of them. "Divergent" is once again a teen-oriented science-fiction adventure,
full of action, romance, and adolescent consternations. Instead of focusing on a love
triangle, survivalist thrills, or a great magical evil, this derivation is all about
independence, corporatism, and the dramatic coup d'état of a corrupt government. The
setting is still a postapocalyptic dystopian remnant, the small gathering of heroes is
still vastly outmatched, and unconvincing love banter is carelessly tossed about.

Hundreds of years after a war devastated the planet, Chicago is reduced to a small
community walled off from an unknown outside threat and hidden amongst
dilapidated buildings. The founder of this surviving civilization has divided all
inhabitants into five factions, each with different skills and jobs. At an undisclosed
age (sixteen according to the book), each member must choose between the path of an
intellect, a farmer, a public servant, a politician, or a soldier. Youths are expected to
follow their heritage and are discouraged from selecting a role unaligned with their
birthright. Nevertheless, an archaic choosing ceremony (involving the ridiculous
ritualistic cutting of the hand and squeezing blood drops into a symbolic bowl) allows
everyone to select publicly, after having taken a mental test that informs of personal
skills and mindset.

Beatrice Prior (Shailene Woodley) originates from the selfless "Abnegation" faction,
but chooses to pursue a career with the brave "Dauntless" clan (a controversial move
instigated by her rare multi-faction tendencies, dubbed "divergent"). She's separated
from her family, seemingly permanently, for a 10-week training period that isn't as
militaristic or educational as it is gladiatorial, anarchical, and naturally nurturing for
bullies. Rules of combat and scoring points are made up along the way, with failure
rewarded with a casting out to the homeless, filthy, starving "factionless" throng (its
existence is obvious evidence that the intended peaceful societal system in place
spawns inequality, greed, and dictatorial leaders). Beatrice becomes "Tris" as she sets
about learning how to fight and quell her fears. She finds herself drawn toward
instructor Four (Theo James) while learning about a plot by conspiring, power hungry
politician Jeanine Matthews (Kate Winslet) to violently overthrow a discordant sect.

This strange, totalistic world, full of peculiar traditions, is explained via bland voice-
over narration, hindered further by rock beats, spontaneous running, and borderline
parkour maneuvers conducted by the Dauntless pack (which serves as showy,
daredevil guardians of the city). The premise, which has the unmistakable feel of "The
Hunger Games," also borrows considerably from "Equilibrium," "1984," "City of
Ember," and even "Bee Movie." The extended sequences of training, camaraderie,
and simulated war games hints at "Starship Troopers," while a laughable introduction
to coed showering facilities that is, of course, never alluded to or shown again,
vaguely reminds of "Robocop" or "Aliens" – a desperation to compare with movies
filled with mature characters that could actually cope with such an R-rated concept.
There's absolutely nothing unique about "Divergent," though the action-packed finale
desperately attempts to fix the staleness of lengthy exposition and unfamiliar
environmental establishment.
Falling victim to the same problem of many science-fiction or fantasy epic startups,
the story is 90% introduction. The majority of the movie is merely a first act.
Resolutions aren't even attempted and many characters are clearly saved for
subsequent chapters, which prevent the satisfaction of revenge or clarity for this
mystifying society. "Let's just say they built the fence for a reason," insists Four. By
the time the themes of free will, chemical brainwashing, and rebellion are put into
action, it's too late. The plausibility of confronting an army, sneaking into a heavily
defended command center, or conquering mind control drugs are at a low, especially
when the lead hero is an unpersuasive, untoughened insurgent incapable of killing the
villains that are in desperate need of dispatching.

Sepasang sepatu- Tulus

This song is created by tulus, the newest jazzy singer and musician from Indonesia.
Usually jazzy music lovers are only enjoy the music. Especially in Indonesia, jazz is
one of the music genre that has little of fans. Because this music sometimes
concentrate in music, many of the songs in this music isn’t popular. Tulus show
different thing in his second album. He isn’t present the easy listening song but he
also gives jazz nuance in his song. One of his songs that is very easy listening and has
unique lyric is Sepatu. The first time after hearing little bit lyric of this song, people
may think that it isn’t a love song, but in the reality this is the very romantic love
song. This is one of the good skill that Tulus has.

We can see that there is a mysterious thing in this song. People will be curious after
hear the title of this song. If people hear the title of the song like, someone like you
from Adelle, love pretender from elvis parsley, or I miss you from blink 182 people
surely can guess what the content and the meaning of the song. As the tittle “ sepatu”,
this song used kind of goods to representative people who fallin in love. Why
“sepatu” ? “sepatu” is one of the goods in the world that has a couple. So the aim of
this song writer uses “sepatu” to describe and represents man and woman who always
be together but can’t be alied. “Kita adalah sepasang sepatu, Selalu bersama tak bisa
bersatu”. That lyric tulus delivered people with “sepatu”.

“Aku sang sepatu kanan, Kamu sang sepatu kiri”. That lyric described togetherness
between man and woman. Many of the other love songs usually in that lyric was
described by roses. But in this song, Tulus uses “sepatu as the media of expressing
feeling. This is the unique thing, because people almost could not imagine that
“sepatu” can be also used as figurative language to make a love song.

The next lyric describes a couple which really wants to meet. They cannot meet
because of something. It is describe by “kita sadar ingin bersama, tapi tak bisa apa-
apa. They will be sad if they are in different place. It is expressed by “terasa lengkap
bila kita berbeda, terasa edih bila kita di rak berbeda.”

The writer can conclude that tulus’s song is the very unique jazz song. This song can
use goods as a media of making love song. It makes the people who hear the song
become curious. Although it isn’t represent from the thing that has relationship with
love, but the whole lyric is very romantic and people can enjoy it very much.

After a string of horror, comedy, and flat out drama movies the past few months, Star
Cinema goes back to one of its strongest genre by doing a romance film. Suddenly It’s
Magic stars Filipina Erich Gonzales and Thai superstar Mario Maurer and helmed by
one of their top notch directors, Rory B. Quintos.

Thai superstar Marcus Hanson (Mario Maurer) is in a personal and professional

burnout, so he escaped to the Philippines in order to get much deserved rest. There, he
met provincial lass Joey (Erich Gonzales), whom he felt a strong connection with.
Joey was mending a broken heart, and the two find each other’s company special.
Once Marcus goes back to Thailand, the two must adjust to the conditions of their
previous lives in order to maintain their relationship.

As for starters, this film was obviously greenlit due to Maurer’s sudden popularity in
the Philippines. With that said, I already left my expectations before I entered the
cinemas. I knew this will have the same predictable and recycled subplots especially
since there seems no room left for a more creative one or interesting story to tackle.
And boy was I surprisingly correct. One can see what will happen a mile away, and
the only thing that will make you gasp is… how correct you are! Fiesta scenes?
Check. Upstaging gay best friend? Check. Girl falling over the boy? Check. It’s as if
someone was tasked to collect different scenes from past rom-coms and combine
them here.

There also seems to be some major continuity issues here and there, such as hair
colors and the language used. Are we supposed to believe that when Joey’s character
speaks Taglish, Marcus’s character will really understand the whole context of it?
Some storylines were also just dropped off in the middle of the film, with no signs of
even coming back.

Despite that, I still find a handful of interesting things to see in the film. I like the
scene where Marcus’s mother is talking to Joey. This highlights what the different
approach in acting we have from them. A scene that could have been histrionically
portrayed here was calm yet full of impact delivered by the Thai mother. There was
also the language play with Thais being forced to speak in English in some parts that
sacrifices the impact of the movie. I also notice how Rory Quintos has this knack of
showing beautiful cinematographic scenes to envelope the watchers to be a part of it
(though it was done better in Kailangan Kita)

The camera really loves Mario Maurer’s face, and there’s no bad angles of him. I
recall the whole cinema going wild every time he has a close up scene. Time and
again, Maurer has proven that he has the chops (Love of Siam anyone?), though it still
depends on the material he was given to. In here, he was not required to do much
except to be cute and charming, and that’s not difficult for him to do. Erich Gonzales
captures the naive woman effectively, and she seems to be a fit to Mario’s mestizo
features. The supporting characters were alright, and while Joross Gamboa’s gay best
friend was a crowd favorite, the role has been done a thousand times now and has
already lost most of its magic. My favorite though is every scene that involves Thai
actress Baifern Pimchanok, as I was smitten by her.

All in all, this one seems predictable as the other romance movies, but one thing that it
genuinely and successfully achieved is the charm of the two lead characters. With
that, there’s no wonder, it will be a hit to its definite target audience.

˝The future belongs to those who know where they belong.˝

Divergent. A movie everyone was eagerly looking forward to. A movie a lot of fuss
was made about. A movie that was doomed to be a mega-success in the cinemas, as
Guardians of the Galaxy was. The only difference with the latter is that the film from
Marvel really looks original and refreshing and has an unique atmosphere. Divergent
is yet another adaptation of a youth book, written by 25-year-old Veronica Roth.

I had a good feeling about this movie. That good feeling melted away like snow in the
sun after roughly 45 minutes. I came to the conclusion it was just another teen movie,
with the same stale storylines and banal trivialities that would make an impression on
a young naive public.

In other words, again a fragile individual that eventually grows into a heroine and,
surprisingly, saves society from being ruined. Sigh.We are in an indeterminate distant
future in a post-apocalyptic Chicago shielded off by a huge metal wall. A half-ruined
city that survived an unspecified war.

Society is divided into several factions that are distinguished by their colour and
costumes, but mostly by their traits and personality. There are five groups:
Abnegation (not selfish), Amity (peaceful), Candor (honest), Dauntless (brave), and
Erudite (intelligent).
At the age of 16 everyone should undergo a test after which they either blindly follow
the outcome - they usually end up in the same faction their parents are in - or choose
another faction and lose contact with their relatives.

Beatrice Prior, the designated heroine, hears after her test that she doesn't belong to
any specific factions. In fact she could join any of them and so she deviates a bit of
the rest. She is being marked as divergent. And apparently nobody should know that.

She feels from the outset as a parasite. During the ceremony, she opts for Dauntless,
which she's worshipped since childhood.

As I mentioned, the first 45 minutes were fascinating. An explanation about the

current situation with magnificent images of the ruins of Chicago. I was just
wondering why they didn't renovate the existing buildings, since they could construct
those ultra modern glass and iron buildings. Or were these half-streaked tower blocks
the shelter for those who didn't belong to any class?

Whatever. The description of the various factions was pictured nicely. It even went
into a socio-political direction at one moment. But soon I couldn't prevent seeing
comparison points with the other movies of youth books.

The system of factions reasonably compares to that in The Hunger Games. Katniss
became a symbol of liberation and hope in The Hunger Games. I suppose that role
will also be played by Beatrice although I could be hopelessly wrong since I've never
read the books.

The ceremony can be compared with Harry Potter. The only thing they do not need to
do is put that old talking hat on their head. Just as Melanie, a rebellious teenager, in
The Host, Beatrice gets hopelessly entangled in a puppy love affair, as expected.

There is one positive point. It's by far better than Beautiful Creatures and way better
than The Mortar Instruments. And if you want to look at a futuristic film, where there
is a distinction between certain classes and also a struggle for freedom, then I suggest
you watch Snowpiercer. But then this movie lacks a bit of real romance and the
aggressive and violence level is a bit higher so it's not for the faint romantic souls.

The initial phase where Tris is heading out with the jeering mob of Dauntless,
climbing and balancing on bridges while wandering through town and jumping on
hurtling trains and afterwards jumping back on flat roofs is still enjoyable.

Even the tests they have to endure and the mutual competition that arises is still
acceptable. But in the end I thought it was a barbaric and cruel faction that throw out
newbies, who ultimately have chosen them, because they didn't pass the tests.
The moment a slight chemistry develops between Four and Tris, it goes downhill for
me and becomes a little too predictable.

The Beverly Hills 90210 level was reached without any problem with the glitzy,
handsome protagonists and feel-good moments.

Shailene Woodley is perfect for this role and exudes a charisma and fragility. Her
future as a teen idol is guaranteed. She will travel the trajectory as a rising star just
like Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Watson did before her. We'll just wait and see if
her future performances will be appreciated by moviegoers.

Theo James has his looks and that will also guarantee a high melting level for all the
teenage girls looking at him who will be floating home afterwards. His toughness
doesn't last long and before you know it he protects Tris as a real mother hen and
winds up on the soggy and corny romantic path.

Ultimately, Divergent is an adolescent story with a disappointing, predictable plot.

Despite the sometimes extremely professional elaborate action scenes, it all feels as
fake as the applied tattoos.

My opinion as a movie freak

There are so many illogical scenes - and I mentioned in the above review that not all
of them, because there are many others, besides that many scenes are not important.
However, even so Insurgent has a pretty good story. There are plots and sub-plots in
the story but they are still predictable and cliche. Overall, the movie was saved
because of the story in the ending section.

Yes, only the ending is good. If you have to give a value, then I will give a value of 7

"Because love does not have to ask him to forget his past"

Reading this novel makes me feel like I'm going to play a puzzle. When one problem is
resolved, the problem is no less complicated. The faithful Aruna character has to endure the
pain given by the person he loves very much. Nevertheless, Bagas never once brought up
Aruna's past. And when Aruna has managed to find the happiness of the past Aruna again
haunts his mind. Will Aruna go back to the past or open a new page with someone else?
I am very impressed with the writings of Boy candra this one. How not, since our prologue
has been treated to a conflict that led to a solution that I did not at all suspect. This article is
very stirring up my feelings as I will become the figure of Aruna in this story because it was
successfully presented with a light but very weighty style. Character figures were so strongly
explained that I as a reader can get carried away with this incident.
There is one thing I really remember from this novel, after the separation aka there is a new
story that may be fun. There are so many lessons to be learned from this novel. About the
sacrifice of love, patience and how we respond to the dark past.
I think friends should read the work of Boy Candra this one. And friends will be enchanted
by the story in this book. Happy reading !!!
