The District Roll-Out on PPST-RPMS for the SY 2019-2020 is an in-service re-
orientation training for teachers and school heads to gain an improvement in
teaching-learning process and instructional leadership respectively as practiced
in the field. This is to ensure the delivery of basic quality education every Filipino
learner deserves. And to realize this, the issuance of Division Memorandum # 283
s. 2019 with corrigendum as stated in DM 292. S. 2019 lead to the preparation of
this re-orientation training for teachers and school heads who are responsible in
the realization of the stated goal.
At the end of the two-day reorientation-training, it is expected that the following will be
achieved:
Objectives
1. familiarize with the RPMS associated tools and its use and
purpose in each phase of the RPMS Cycle;
2. emphasize that for S.Y. 2019-2020, only two RPMS tools will be
used: RPMS Proficient Tool for Teacher I-III, RPMS Highly
Proficient Tool for Master Teachers I-IV highlighting the equivalent
MOV per indicators;
3. point out that the COT-RPMS is an avenue for feed backing from
classroom observation to check the quality input of the teaching
process for the continuous improvement of teacher practice and
provides opportunities to share ideas and expertise, as well as,
promote mentoring and coaching among colleagues;
4. orient that the e-SAT is the electronic version of the SAT for RPMS;
5. provide an information on how to compute the COT rating in the
IPCRF, as well as the MOV to be used in portfolio preparation and
organization;
6. reinforce understanding on the classroom observation protocols
and
7. experience a simulation activity based on a given video
presentation on the process of classroom observation.
Expected Final Outcome/Success Indicator: After the Formal Face to Face (F3)
Component, each participant should be able present the following outputs:
1. A teacher and school head who has full understanding on the PPST-RPMS
processes in the cycle in relation to their duties and responsibilities as rate
and rater;

of the RPMS tools;
