Debut Program Flow

Debut – traditional Filipino coming of age celebration which celebrates a young woman’s 18th birthday,
the age of maturity in the Philippines.

This is one of the milestone of every girl. This marks her metamorphosis from being a child to adulthood
and a tradition in our country, this cause for a big celebration. Oftentimes, party was being thrown with
unique program

1. Guest arrive
2. Welcoming of Guest
3. Ushering of guest by ushers to their designated seats
4. Cocktails for guest to mingle (so that they would not mingle once the program starts,and to give
the debutante time to prepare before her grand entrance.)
5. After everyone has settled in their place, the host will make mention of important people who
graced the occasion (if there are)
6. At this point, cocktails are being served
7. The audio-visual presentation of debutante from infancy to present
8. Grand entrance of debutante
9. Parents talk about debutante (brief summary of achievement, goals, ambitions, etc.)
10. Toast in honor of the debutante
11. Debutante speech
12. Prayer

14. AvP of well-wishers
15. Father and Daughter dance (this may also be incorporated into the eighteen roses. Fathers are
usually the first or last dance of the debutante
