Dear Sir:

Philippine National Police is mandated under the existing laws of R.A. 8550 or
Fisheries Code of 1998 as one of the support units authorized to enforce laws and
management and conservation of the fisheries and aquatic resources.

In support with this, PSsg Dennis Dabalos and PSsg Leonor Go who is presently
assigned to this office has been detailed to BFAR8 and served as crew member of
PNP MV Lakan who is tasked to perform police function such as monitoring, control
and surveillance over Eastern Visayas territorial waters.

In view with the foregoing, I would like to request from your good office to transfer the
the ownership of 12-footer fiberglass paddleboat (MV Lakan) registered under the
name of your office to Regional Mobile Force Battalion 8 in order to utilized by our
personnel detailed in your office.
