As I have interested in institutional planning, they have a target to assemble large number of people within a
space which is big task, to create different zone for different category of people (public, semi-public and private
spaces), provide harmony between blocks on site, providing permanent and temporary structure for gathering of
people.

BRIEF OUTLINE OF THE PROJECT:


This convention centre is peoposed at NOIDA,.NOIDA
AUTHORITY is developing a INSTITUTE. A plot of land admeasuring 10.55 Acres has been earmarked for
development of a national institute of fashion technology. The fashion institute will include 9000 sq m. covered
AC exhibition space with scope for further expansion, liabrary facilities of 5000 seats capacity and meeting
halls of varying capacity.This site is situated in institutional area.It comprises different parts such as:

1. Library
2. Design studios and Techno Labs
3. Computer center
4. Hostel
5. Placement Cell
6. Public service areas
7. Car Park Revenue

Qualitative Objectives:
 Provide visitor-serving retail within the project boundaries;
 Enhance and improve the pedestrian experience/access from the city to the bayfront;
 Activate and invigorate the waterfront promenade,
 Preserve the Park Boulevard view corridor from the city's downtown;Re-establish the Convention
Center's view terrace along the bayfront;
 Activate and enhance the views from the bay to the fashion institute.
 Strengthen the connection between downtown and the bay at 4th Avenue;
 Preserve and enhance public open spaces;
 Enhance public access to the bay;
 Improve pedestrian connectivity to existing adjacent development;
 Improve vehicular and freight truck circulation; and
 Maintain pedestrian safety.

plot of land admeasuring 15 Acres has been earmarked for development of a CULTURAL CENTER The
CULTURAL CENTER will include 8 000 sq m. covered AC exhibition space with scope for further expansion,
c meeting halls of varying capacity.This site is situated in commercial area.It comprises different parts such as:

Exhibit gallery space – minimum of 50m2.


Large, open program space for artist studios, workshops/
classes/ lectures – minimum of 40m2
Reception area/desk/office space/retail shop – minimum of 25m2
Storage – minimum of 25m2
Kitchen/staff area – minimum 9m2
Toilet facilities and circulation areas to meet disability access
standards.

This convention centre is peoposed at GREATER NOIDA.DDA is. A
plot of land admeasuring 10Acres has been earmarked for development of a world class MUSEUM. Exhibition
development is a complex activity, which is expanding beyond the design discipline. Various kindsof specialist
have brought a new perspective to museum exhibitions especially in terms of digital technology,which has had a
major impact on the design process in museum exhibition development.

FEASIBIITY OF THE PROJECT

The design information used in museum exhibition development, is identified as a key requirement for
co-ordinating curators and designers’ relationships as well as integrating other disciplines. In order to undertake
museum exhibition design properly, the overall activity needs to be co-ordinated to meet curatorial requirements.
As the work of museums has changed, curatorial work has become heavily dependent on other knowledge and
techniques to make the museum exhibition more effective. Curators have become more design conscious animproved their
knowledge of modern design skills
