Abstract
We know that spectrum is rare coin for communication engineers. Nowadays, with
the rapid growth of wireless communications the problem of using spectrum efficiently has
become more important. Many solutions have been proposed to solve this issue; one of
these solutions is the usage of visible light frequencies to send data. These frequencies are
already free and unused. Light fidelity (Li-Fi) is a new short range optical wireless
communication technology which provides the connectivity within a local network, by using
Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to transmit data depending on light illumination properties.
