Sequence signals or Sequence connectors are group of letters or words used to link sentences and be
able to discuss the order of events within a paragraph written. It's very useful especially for readers to
determine which event happens first and last.
Here are some sommon examples that you might be using:
1. and
Example: She runs in the yard and play the ball.
2. then
Example: She runs in the yard then play the ball.
3. next
Example: She runs in the yard. Next, she plays the ball.
4.when
Example: She was running in the yard when she met her.
5. after
Example : She ran in the yard after she went home.
You might want to use the following connectors as well:
Finally, first, meanwhile, subsequently, afterwards, later, after that, until, before, so that, and at the same
time
