Give the definitions of the given words

1. Theology
- The study of religious faith, practice and experience; especially: The study of God and God’s
relation to the world; a usually 4 year course of specialized religious training in a Roman
catholic major Seminary
- In my own perspective, theology is a study of a one’s idea to a certain thing relating to a
particular belief as God’s affiliation here in the world. Theology is a constructed idea
whereas, many are produced by different people. Hence, I can say I can use theology as a
reliable source to support my stand or argument.

2. Salvation
- A deliverance from the power and effects of sin; preservation from destruction or failure,
deliverance from danger or difficulty
- In my view, Salvation is what we receive from our Lord in our everyday. Thus, salvation is
given to us by our Lord when He sacrificed His Son Jesus Christ. As per Him, “It is finished”
we’re saved. The salvation is in our hands, still we are sinners although as we repent and ask
for forgiveness, our Lord never fails and get tired of forgiving us and giving us His salvation.
3. Covenant
- A usually formal, solemn and binding arrangement: Compact; a written agreement or
promise usually under the seal between two or more parties especially for the performance
of some action * the deed conveying the land contained restrictive covenants
-

4. Revelation
- An act of revealing or communicating divine truth, something that is revealed by God to
humans
- For me the revelation, is the most fearing book in the bible whereas it is stated there the
second coming of our Lord, how will the world fade and fail and the judgement day will
come. That book makes the people realize that the happiness provided by the world is
temporary but the love of God is eternal.
5. Spirituality
- Something that in ecclesiastical law belongs to the church or to a cleric as such clergy,
sensitivity or attachment of religious values
- In my view, spirituality is a commitment. Inasmuch as, with its definition, we need to be
devoted on what faith that we have.
6. Commandment
- The act and power of commanding
- Honestly, when I hear this word, I remember the ten commandments of our Lord. Whereas,
we are committed to obey it.
