‘NOTIFICATION
It is notified for information of all concemed that with the approval of Academic
Committee of the Board, Curriculum of One-year Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) has
been revised/updated describing the detail in more appropriate way covering different areas of
Information Technology and inclusion of new topics such as programming techniques etc, with a
view to commensurate it with the market needs and to make Job oriented.
Entry qualification has also been changed from Intermediate/HSC to SSC/TSC or
equivalent with 45% marks to encourage the students and to expand the compute
knowledge/skills as per demand of the modem age.
Under new scheme practical examinations will be conducted at own institutions,

RULES FOR ADMISSION ATTENDANCE & PROMOTION
FOR
ONE YEAR DIPLOMA IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM (1000 Hours)
01, ELIGIBILITY
Above mentioned examination shall be open to a candidate who:
02. Hass passed Secondary School Certificate(SSC) examination from any Board of
Secondary Education (BSE)
OR
Any other examination as equivalent to the aforesaid examination
03. He has been enrolled in a recognize institute as per Board's schedule proceeding to
examination and has duly registered himself/herself with the Board
04. Produce the certificate/documents by the head of the institutions he/she has most
recently attended

Attested Photo copy of the mark sheet of the SSC Examination issued by the Board
of Secondary Education
Three attested copies of recent taken photographs
Certificate showing satisfactory completion of class room work throughout the
semester proceeding to the examination

Every candidate on the rolls of an institute shall submit his/her application for
admission on the prescribed Form, and remit the prescribed fee through the Head of
the Institutions concerned so as reach the Board by a certain Data fixed by the
Chairman,> Whenever the application for admission to the Examination or fee or both of a
candidate are received after the last date prescribed without late fee he/she shall
pay an additional prescribed late fee provided that such application for admission to
the examination and fee are received not later then the date fixed by the Chairman
for receipt of the forms a regular students will accept on payment of double the
ordinary fee up to 30" day before the commencement of the examination. The
Chairman may allow in special circumstances, acceptance of admission form beyond
30 days
> If the application for admission to the examination is dispatched under register
cover and the admission fee is sent to the least two days the date prescribed for
submission of application and the fee shall be considered to have been received in
time period these are received on the office of the Board with in 3 days of receipt of
form and fee.
> No candidates will be allowed under any circumstances to appear in the examination
without Admit Card issued by the Board and such candidates 9s) will not lay claim of
the result of such appearance without valid Admit Card issued by the Board against
the norm.
> There shall be two semester examinations in an academic session to be conducted
by the Board
05. CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE
The Head of the Institutions may condone shortage of attendance upto 10% on
Medical or other exceptional grounds provided that the admission form of the
candidates whose attendance is less than 70% in the theory and 80% in the practical
will not even be sent provisionally.
A candidate must have cleared all the dues of the Institute and Board
06, REQUIREMENT FOR AWARD OF DIPLOMA/CERTIFICATE
To qualify for award of the Diploma/Certificate a candidate must pass by securing
40% marks in all theory and 50% marks in practical subjects/paper/part of a paper as
specified in the scheme of studies.
07. REAPPEARANCE/COMPARTMENT
A Candidate failing in one or more subjects of theory and Practical shall be allowed
to re-appear in those subjects only in maximum two subsequent consecutive
examinations08. CLASSIFICATION OF DIPLOMA
A candidate who has qualified for the grant of Diploma shall be placed in one of the
following Grades
80% and above AL
70% to 79.9% A Grade
60% to 69.9% B Grade
50% to 59.9% C Grade
Less than 50% D Grade (subject to min pass marks)
Tom be eligible for the grant of any Academic Distinction a candidate must
appear and pass the Examin: ‘one and the same sitting examination only.

been restructured. Some topics such as introduction to programming techniques are
added (that is not covered in any other course) and number system (which is needed
for developing applications).
