18. Note 1. Use pipe sections conforming to following

pipe schedules for.
replacement purpose confirming to EIL spec
A10A. All small bore
piping' replacement (<1 inch
NPS) shall be done using sch. 160 sections.
For 1inch, 1.5inch, 2inch - Use SCH 80
sections
For 3inch and above - Use SCH 40 sections
2. Use ER70S2 and E7018 for root and filler
passes respectively.
3. Offer fit-up and weld visual inspection of
all joints.
4. Offer 10% RT of butt welded joints and
100%DPT of socket welded
joints.
5. Maintain a min. BOP of 410mm, provide
proper pipe supports,
corrosion pads and tie-rods at every sleeper
location.
6. Offer HT of the line at 31.35 kg/sq.cm post
inspection clearance.
7. Carry out painting post HT as per
inspection's advisory (System 1).

NOTE:

1. Tie rods are missing.

2. Alternate guide supports are touching the pipe.

3. Add previous IWL points.

450
