Summary
The purpose of this study was to find out of what is the importance of using organic fertilizer in
vegetables in San Manuel, Tarlac. In this research study, the research can get some ideas about farming
especially the Technical Vocational Livelihood (TVL) crop production strand. Determining the importance
of using organic fertilizer in vegetables and finding out how it really affect in a crop. In chapter one
determining about the problem and it's background, an introduction, state of the problem, Significance
of the study, the profile of respondents, scope and delimitation and definition of terms. The research is
delimited to the farmers who are expert in farming. In chapter two reports about the Related Literature
and studies on the study, also the conceptual and theoritical framework showing the dependent and
independent variables. Such as age, gender, status and the advantages of using organic fertilizer. While in
chapter three was the methodology, which tackles about the process of gathering data. And in chapter
four indicates the presentation, interpretation and analysis of data. This chapter reports about the
conclusion and recommendations.
Abstract
The aim was to investigate organic fertilizer derived for vegetable plant. Fertilizer is any organic or
inorganic material of natural synthetic origin that is added to soil to supply one or more plant. Organic
fertilizer and greater development compared with inorganic. Organic fertilizer at a higher concentration
should be provided to reach a similar vegetable development because the growing medium/media such
as compost, dry leaves, rice hull, saw dust, black soil and animal manureare adequate and constant
fertilizer the acidity of the soil can controlled and the growth of the crop can be essential. Today organic
fertilizer has become unpopular in modern Agriculture to feed the growing population of San Manuel,
Tarlac. In this case farmers of San Manuel can switch into organic farming to prevent toxins and
unhealthy crops.
Conclusion
The purpose of this study is to found out what is the importance of using organic fertilizer in our
plants / vegetables in San Manuel, Tarlac. Using organic fertilizer in our plant has a benefits first the
apperance and second is in the land , because organic fertilizer have many benefits for the soil, organic
fertilizer reduce acidity in the soil and do not cause leaching. Using Organic fertilizer in our plant is vey
important most especially for the sake of the people who buy oir plant. Because if it is organic it means it
safe because their is no mixing chemical. So as a young Farmers if i have a chance r if i have my own farm
i choose to Organic. But not all people covincing about organic fertilizer because according to the
farmers it is easy to planting vegetable or any kind of crops in the help of chemical fertilizer. According to
the data we gather out of 10 Farmers and 10 questionaire 66% of the farmers say they use organic
fertilizer in their farm but 34% of the farmers di not use organic.
Recommendations
1. For consumptions, it is better to use organic fertilizer in our plant because it is healthy to eat and no
synthetic fertilizer added to it.
2. For selling purposes you should use organic fertilizer however, it takes time for the growth of plant
youre soil doesnt destroy.
3. Barangay official have meeting for implementing to use organic fertilizer to the farmers. And to find
out the importance to the plant and soil.
4. Farmers should be famliaries in different types of organic fertilizer and to implement organic farming
to them.
5. Farmers should use organic fertilizer to less expensive and to save life.
The research of this papers hope that the study helps the farmers in San Felipe, San Manuel, Tarlac
