How to create a new address style for Location addresses.
SOLUTION
To add an address style:
In System Administrator > Application > Flexfield > Descriptive > Segments
1. Enter Oracle Human Resources in the application field.
2. Enter Personal Address Information or Location Address in the title field as appropriate.
3. Run the query.
4. Uncheck the Freeze Flexfield Definition check box.
Note: Read the warning.
5. Choose New from the File menu.
6. Enter the country code in the code and name fields.
7. Enter a description and select the Segments button.
8. Define the segments.
Note: You can only use the columns provided by Oracle HR for your segments.
9. Save your work.
Note: Make sure any new segments are enabled. You can choose whether segments are displayed or not.
10. Check the Freeze Flexfield Definition check box.
11. Choose the Compile button.
When compilation is complete, exit your current login session. Then log in again to see your updated styles.
NOTE: Begining with Releaase 12.0, if Financials is installed Location addresses and Legal Entity addresses
are created in Financials.
Legal Entity addresses are created using either Account Setup Manager or Legal Entity Configurator.

HR Location Address Descriptive Flex eld
controls the address elements presented for a given
territory or country. The ex eld also validates that
mandatory elds have been entered.
Before creating a Legal Address it is important to
make sure that the format speci ed in the HR
Location Address Descriptive Flex eld matches the
format desired by your organization. The steps
below outline how this is performed and how
changes can be made.
Unfreeze the Flexfield Definition
Responsibility: System Administrator
Navigation: Application > Flex eld > Descriptive
>Segments
Query the Title "Location Address"
Uncheck the checkbox next to "Freeze Flex eld
De nition"
