DESCRIPTIVE

 Is a text describe as particular person , place or thing.

The stucture generic of descriptive :


 Identification : identifies the person ,place or thing to be described.

 Description : describes part, qualities and characteristics of the person , place or

thing.

The language features of descriptive text are using mostly simple present tense, and the use
of adjective to make an interesting , lively descriptive.

Contoh descriptive text :

I see a butterfly perch on a flower. Let me try to describe it for you.


The butterfly is very beautiful. It is brightly colored. It has four large wings used to
fly from one floer to another. Do you know what it does while pearching on the flower?
Yeah . it sip the nectar. As we know, butterflies fed on the nectar or on fruit.
The butterfly has a slim and hairless body. It also has club-shaped antennae. The
antennae functions as feelers. Well, that’s what I can tell you about the butterfly.
