Topic:: Jones AND Crandall'S Self Actualization Scale

This document summarizes the Jones and Crandall's Self Actualization Scale. It is a 15 item questionnaire developed in 1986 to measure self actualization. It was derived from refining the Personal Orientation Inventory short scale. Testing showed it has good internal consistency of .69 and convergent validity of .67 when compared to the full Personal Orientation Inventory. The scale uses a 4 point Likert response format ranging from disagree to agree. It provides a reliable and concise measurement of self actualization compared to prior longer scales.
