Excel File For Data

The document provides comments on the solar layout plan for the PEE DEE camp solar project. Some key points from the comments include: 1) The south facing slope is ideal for solar racking. 2) It would be better to locate the substation closer to minimize the length of the 69kV transmission line. 3) The point of interconnection (POI) location was not clearly indicated on the original layout. Locating the solar array closer to the POI is preferable.

Commets on PEE DEE camp solar layout

1 South Facing Slope, Ideal for Solar Racking

We would have put the Substation Here, to minimize the

2 69KV line run

This is the indicated POI. Normally we would indicate the

location of the Point of Interconnection (Point of
Evacuation). Also, however, we try and locate our array
3 closer to the POI if possible.

4 Water Area, we are too close, or overlapping entirely…

Steep Hill Area, SAT won't work here without grading,

5 which we will not do
Buildings are here, we would not remove these, but we
6 will avoid them

The Image should be lightened (Transparency) so we can

see the fence line, offset line and other notes called out. I
7 can't see them clearly now

area slopes down from South to North (away from the

8 Sun). We would avoid this area in a first round layout

We would not put a project Fence around such a large

Area. We would fence the project Array and infrastructure
9 we are installing only

We understand there are some issues with the AutoCAD in

the Delhi office not working with some of our standard
AutoCAD features. I was told the version used in Delhi is
2010 and is run off a laptop. These are not adequate tools
10 if this is true.

If plotted on a USA standard size 24 x 36" (Arch D) sheet

size, these margins would be correct. They are not correct
11 here.
These don't look accurate. Please verify Source

Correct, i agree this is a better portion for utilising which has not been cosnidered in layout,
however it was intensionally left by the team citing water body in between, but I agree thia
area could had beeen utilised better

We understand cost of HT cable crossing through wet land is costlier as compare to OHL 69kV
line for complete plant. So we have planned to club power of each feeder at point nos. "7"
which is most suitable location with reference to already running transmission line.

POI was not known while preparing the drawings, as a remedial measure i would suugest POI
detail shall be provided in .kmz file similar to plant boundary demarcation. Generally the
location or coordinates of POT is clrealy informed by the customer. However location of PV
substation has been decided as neared as possible to transmission line passing through that
area & as reason mentioned in s.no. 2.As per your mail we have to follow step same as we did
for NCRE reedy project. Undesrtand same hasn't been marked in REEDY project.

Water area has been decided based on slope analysis report avialble with us. Accordingly wet
land offset has been made .We have installed tracker within wet land offset marked.Exact
location of wet land area can only be decided once we have detail water flow study. May be
water area marked in layout is not accurate & at site this may be larger area so tentative mark
up can't solve our purpose. We can also modify natural drainage so that water can't be spilled
to much larger area.

Based on your marking small portion tracker is affecting. There is a scope for improvement
here in the layout, I understadn there is some cushion at other places wherein these
tweakings can be done in detailing.

Agreed. Noted. Should have been avoided.

Noted. This has been sorted out.

Refer to point nos. 5

Team had been guided to follow the concept of NCRE REEDY project(mails attached). Same we
did for NCRE reedy project but did not recieve any comments. As per our previous learnings
most of the customers ask for fencing the whole land area irrespective of the array field.
Curious to understand is the land not in name of owner or its a different business model.
However as a learning this shall be taken care by discussing in the inital internal meeting.

We have sorted out the problem. Same will be reflected in upcoming drawings
We have taken this value from Solar GIS software, .csv file attached for your reference Basically
our PV-syst team have licensed version of solar GIS software and as discussed earlier they are
badly occupied with other projects. So we have taken reference of a nearby location. I
understand we have PV-syst license at US office and Ram is working on it, would suggest to
please provide details like min. & max. temp. optimal pitch/GCR, best LCOE detail alongwith
preliminary project information as an input to I ndia team. Once the team is in US, probably
they all can work together to the common goal.
