Chapter 1
Functional Description
This feature provides up to three concurrent PS RAB data services. They may be
interactive/background RAB or streaming RAB. Their data rate may be any rate of the
above-mentioned interactive/background services or streaming services.
The RAB radio parameters of this feature follow the definition in the 3GPP TS 34.108.

4.1 Test Purpose
The purpose of this test case is to verify the multi-RAB function of Interactive PS +
Interactive PS is normal

4.2 Steps for Test
1. UE1 activates a PS call with APN1 in Cell1 and starts FTP downloading.
a. Check the “uplinkDirectTransfer”message,APN1 is zte1.com.
b. The “RAB_AssignmentRequestMsg” message indicate that TrafficClass is
interactive and Uplink maxBitrate is 2048kbps, Downlink maxBitrate is 2048kbps.

2. UE1 activates another PS call with APN2 and starts streaming media service.
a. Check the "uplinkDirect Transfer“ message, APN2 is zte.com.
b. The “RAB_AssignmentRequestMsg” message indicate that TrafficClass is
interactive and Uplink maxBitrate is 2048kbps,Downlink maxBitrate is 2048kbps.
3. The 2 PS services are established on DCH/DCH successfully.

a. Check “RadioLinkReconfigurationPrepare”message, the first PS service is
established on DCH/DCH successfully.
b. Check “RadioLinkReconfigurationPrepare”message, the second PS service is
established on DCH/DCH successfully, too.
4. The 2 PS services downlink rates are 384kbps (Notes: Due to the limitation of UE’s
capability, the data rate of 2 PS services may not reach DL 384Kbps simultaneously,
too.)
a. Check “RadioLinkReconfigurationPrepare” message, the first PS service downlink
rate is 384k.

b. Check “RadioLinkReconfigurationPrepare”message, the second PS service

4.3 Expected Results
1. The 2 PS services are established on DCH/DCH successfully.
2. The voice and image quality of the streaming service is good. There is no obvious
delay.
3. The 2 PS services downlink rates are 384kbps (Notes: Due to the limitation of UE’s
capability, the data rate of 2 PS services may not reach DL 384Kbps simultaneously)
