but done by operation.
2. In normal R700 and R700 connection or if MCU is R600 and RCU is R700, re-
configuration of host is executed only in S-VOL. If MCU is R700 and RCU is R600, after
pair release both of HAM P-VOL and S-VOL are to be rebooted.
3. To create an HAM pair in R700 and R600 configuration, I/Os need to be stopped as
device information on P-VOL changes.
4. HAM pair creation by No Copy while HMO52 is ON is disabled. To create an HAM pair
by No Copy with HMO52 set to ON, create a TC pair by No Copy and execute a resync
operation with attribute change from TC to HAM pair.
5. At HAM pair creation with HMO52 set to ON, if SCSI-3 Reserve key is registered on S-
VOL side, the pair creation fails. In this case, check the system configuration, delete the key
and then retry the operation.
6. To downgrade the micro-program to an unsupported version, turn all of HMO52 settings
to OFF and delete HAM pairs between different storage models. (Online/offline)
