This User Guide provides a step-by-step instruction on how to use KDF TradeActive trading platform in an
effective and efficient way.

This Quick Start Manual is divided into 7 regions:

2.0 Part A - Market Data - Real time Price Quotes Summary 3
User can use the “Real Time Price Quote Summary 3” to enquire futures prices and trade through the Real
Time Price Quote Screen.
2.1 Add Product
(i)To add the product, click “Select”
(ii)“Select Multiple Product” window will pop out as below:
(iii)Added Products will be displayed at “Real Time Price Quotes Summary 3” window.
2.2 “Nominal” Function in Market Data Window
Nominal refers to Last Traded Price / Closing Price. When user clicks on “Nominal” for particular
contract, the product code and last traded price will be populated into order ticket as below:

For an example: Once user clicked on FKLIH8 “Nominal” on “Real Time Price Quotes Summary 3”,
the product code and price will be tabulated into order ticket as below:
2.3 Add Space Line
User may add an empty space line in between product code.
2.4 Move Up/ Down Button
User can move up / down the selected contract month by clicking on the icon as below:

3.0 Part B & C – Order Journal
The order journal is a real time monitor screen for order status and information. Any updates for the
order will be broadcasted to the order journal.
To launch Order Journal, go to Menu bar and click “Order Input/Enq. → Order Journal”.
There are two different Order Journals in the trading system:
3.1 Order Journal (Working Order / Partially filled order screen)
The Working Orders Screen shows user all the current working orders and partially
filled orders, and allows user to cancel/amend an order.
User may click on Order Journal Setting icon “ ” to check the default set-up.
By default, the orders with following status will be ticked in the boxes highlighted as
below:

3.2 Order Journal (Filled Order Screen)
The Filled Order Screen displays all orders that have been filled/ cancelled/ rejected,
including the details of the order.
The default set-up in the order journal as below:

3.3 Order Status
The orders are categorized into five different statuses in Order Journal:
i) “Q” >>> Working
ii) “NEW (H) >>> Conditional order – Pending
iii) “FEX” >>> Filled
iv) “CAN” >>> Cancelled
v) “REJ” >>> Rejected

3.4 Description
There are several buttons inside the order journal which explain in the following
table:

1 Exit Close the current order journal
2 Refresh Refresh the orders’ status in the order journal
3 Setting Configure this order journal.
Enquire the detail information of currently
4 Enquire Order
selected order.
5 Update Order Update the currently selected order.
6 Cancel Order Cancel the currently selected order.
Acknowledge the currently selected order is
Acknowledge completed (i.e. Fully Filled, Cancelled or

Order Rejected) and hide this order in the order
journal.
Release the currently selected held order, so

4.0 PART D – Order Ticket (OT) & Click To Trade (CT)

4.1 Order Ticket (OT)
The OT can be opened via the following steps:
i) Menu Bar > Orders > Enter Order (KF), to open OT and enter order
ii) Click on “Nominal” on Real-Time Price Quote and OT will be shown in the trading screen
iii) Click on “Bid” / “Ask” column and select price and OT will be shown in the trading
screen,
iv) Click on selected Product and press below default shortcut keys:
F2 >>> To enter Buy order
F4 >>> To enter Sell order

4.2 Click to Trade ( CT )
Orders can be entered not only via the OT, also the “Click to Trade” can be used.
The CT can be opened via the following steps: Menu Bar >>> Orders>>>Click to Trade (Advanced)

4.21 CT – Order Amendment
To amend the order, user is required to drag that particular price and drop it to the price level
where you would like to change the order to.
This order is as illustrated below:
(i)Place an order, buying 2 lots FKLI @ 1724.5.

ii) User amended the order to buy 2 lots @ 1725.5.
4.22 CT –Order Cancellation
The cancellation of order will be based on “Default Quantity” set by the user.
If the default quantity set by User is 1 lot, then 1 lot will be cancel when the user clicks on “-”
on CT.
This order is as illustrated below:
i) User is working to buy 2 lots FCPO @ 2597

One lot will be cancelled in the system once user clicks on “-”as the default Qty set by the
user is 1 lot.
4.23 CT - Conditional Orders
User may use “Right Click” on “Buy / Sell (L) / Buy / Sell (S)” to:
i) Cancel order
ii) Enter Stop Limit Order
iii) Enter Trailing Stop Order
iv) Enter OCO Order
v) Enter Bull Bear Order

4.3 How to Update/ Amend Order (In Order Jounal)
Step 1: There are 2 ways of updating an order in “Order Journal”. To update an order, first
highlight the order in “Order journal”, then either:
i) Click on the update order default shortcut key “F5”; or
ii) Click on “Price” column in order Journal as below:

4.4 How to Update/ Amend Stop Limit Order
For example, assuming that User has put in a Buy Stop Limit @ 1640 – 1645 and would like to
amend to 1645 -1650.
Step 1: Open the “Update Order” window:
User is required to Change the Limit price first to 1650.

4.5 How to Cancel Order
Step 1 : There are 2 ways of cancelling an order in “Order Journal”.
To cancel an order, highlight the order in “Order journal” either:
i) Click on the “Cancel Order” icon; or
ii) Click on the “Cancel Order” short-cut key “F9”

5.0 Part E –Account Info
The Account Info allows user to look at the account marked to market. User is able to access to their Net
Equity Balance, Margin Excess, P&L and Net position in the trading screen on a real-time basis.
6.0 Part F - Chart
User can select different contracts with different chart types.
To access, user is required to “Right Click” on selected contract>> Click on “Show Technical Chart
(DZHI)” OR “Show Technical Chart (Nextview).

To see the Continuous chart, user can type “FKLIC1” OR “FCPOC1” as below:

7.0 Part G - Save Setting
7.1 To Load a Saved Desktop Layout
Upon logging in, trading system will automatically load the default desktop layout.
If you want to restore any other saved desktops, click on the menu item “Desktop → Load Desktop
Settings”.
Choose default or desktop profile code and click “OK”.
The saved desktop setting will be loaded.
7.2 To Save a Desktop Layout
All window sizes and positions can be easily adjusted. Users can also customize desktop settings to
cater individual needs (details as below):
Save the current desktop layout by clicking the menu item “Desktop → Save Desktop Settings”.

You may choose to save the settings as default (auto load while logging in), or create a profile code
for it then click “OK”.
