MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES FOR MR. AND MS.
NOTRE DAME 2019
The Mr. and Ms. Notre Dame is a wit, talent and beauty inside and out search of the students
of Notre Dame of Kiamba Inc. who will serve as ambassadors and ambassadress of the school in
promoting the values and advocacies of the school.
The candidates will compete for the following:
1. Interview
2. Facebook Influencer
3. Production number
4. Creative jeans
5. Uniform Attire
6. Formal Attire
7. Photogenic Award
8. Mr. and Ms. Sweet Smile
9. Lady and Gentlemen of the Ramp
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. The competition is open to all students of Notre Dame of Kiamba.
2. The candidate must be a bona fide student of Notre Dame of Kiamba.
3. The candidate will represent the section he/she belongs during the search.
4. The candidate must religiously attend the practices prior to the pageant night.
INTERVIEW (20%)
1. The candidates must be present during the interview which will be on September 6, 2019.
2. The candidate should wear white t-shirt and pants during the close door interview.
3. The candidate will be given question to answer and the answer will be rate according to its
relevance, substance, and value to the question given.
Criteria: Spontaneity 30%
Substance 40%
Delivery 30%

FACEBOOK INFLUENCER
1. Each candidate will have official search photo that will be uploaded on the Facebook page of
Notre Dame of Kiamba Inc.
2. Candidate who will have the most garnered reactions until September 6, 2019 12:00 pm will be
declared winner.
3. Shared post is not counted in judging.
PRODUCTION NUMBER (20%)
The production number shall heed the following:
1. The candidates should show poise and bearing in wearing their attire for production number.
2. The candidates will introduce themselves, the section they’re representing in this portion, and
their sponsor.
3. The candidates will wear no other attire aside from the attire made by the official designer.
4. The candidates must wear hard hat as part of their costume in production number. The hard hat
is provided by the candidates.
Criteria: Mastery 35%
Poise and Bearing 35%
Style 30%

CREATIVE JEANS (20%)
The presentation for the creative jeans shall heed the following:
1. The candidates are free to hire a designer for their creative jeans.
2. The jeans must not be cut, hence it must only be enhance in design.
3. The candidate must only wear the white t-shirt submitted to the SSG prior to the event, and no
other upper attire should be wear.
4. The upper attire of the female candidate should show decency, no crop tops or any other form
of vulgarity is allowed. In case of not following this rule, the candidate is automatically
disqualified in the creative jeans presentation.
5. The female candidate should wear high heeled shoes or sandals, and shoes for male.

UNIFORM ATTIRE (20%)
The presentation of the uniform attire shall heed the following:
1. The candidate must only wear the official uniform of Notre Dame of Kiamba, Inc., hence no
other school uniform is allowed.
2. The candidates must wear black shoes with white socks for male as the official footwear for the
uniform.
3. The candidates must only wear uniform, no bags, books and other unnecessary props must be
worn.
4. The male candidates must not wear any form of piercing in their body, thus wearing of such will
result to disqualification in judging the uniform.
5. The female candidates must only wear pearl earrings or any earing but not dangling earrings.

Fitness and Style 30%

FORMAL ATTIRE (20%)
The presentation of the formal attire shall heed the following:
1. Formal wears of all the candidates will be provided by the organizer, hence no formal wear not
provided by the organizer shall be worn during the event. In case of not abiding the rule, the
candidate will be disqualified in the formal wear.
2. Candidates must carry themselves with dignity, grace, poise and elegance
