where would you like to go next?
My plan in my professional destination after Seneca is to be a cyber security expert. I
want to add value to the vast huge industry of cyber world where so much insecurity of
data and information has become the order of the century. The future of innovation,
robotic or AI will always be threatened if cyber security is not at arms length. It is my
passion to keep things safe most especially peoples documents, information and data. I
will be working to prevent hacking and data/online fraud. I will be helping my future
company or organisation and the ICT industry at large to move ahead of hackers and
threats so as to help my clients, businesses, government and private citizens to save
millions of dollars from cyber threats.
What skills and knowledge are you going to need?
I need more knowledge in cyber security and data management architecture. I will also
work with other professionals and team from other related industries. I will need more
skills and knowledge to become who and what I want to become. I will be learning from
other professionals, possibly write certifications courses and connect with other
professionals in the industry. I will also continue to learn and develop myself, Connect
with other professional and attend networking events remain relevant in the industry
and continuously make contribution in the industry
What will happen between now and then?
So many things will happen between now and then, I would have worked in small and
large organisations in various capacity to build experiences, and build personal
professional profile and expertise. I would have also built lots of connection, learn new
things and added so much value to the industry.

Ikigai is a concept that urges humanity to align our passions with a mission to better the
world. It is all about how to better the world as a life of purpose. It has to do with my
Mission, Vocation Profession and my Passion: This is my mission - cyber security, it is. It
is what the world currently needs more than ever before. I will get paid from it and I will
be a professional and expert in it.

By using specific social engineer techniques against businesses, cyber
attacks have escalated from phishing to “whaling,” says the report. That’s
when an executive with access to company resources gets a message that
appears to be from a relevant employee, asking them to direct funds to an
account controlled by criminals. This can lead to major financial losses and
damage to reputations, the report notes.
It’s expected that threat actors will increase their efforts to exploit supply
chain vulnerabilities in 2019. “Given the interdependent nature of many
modern businesses, supply chain security is only as strong as its weakest
link.” The idea is to identify vulnerable parties to gain access to the primary
target through shared networks.

“It is certain that Canadians will be affected by malicious online activity

over the future. If cyberware escalation continues unchecked, the victims
of state-sponsored hacking could be on a trajectory for even more virulent
and destructive works. The digital attacks first demonstrated in Ukraine
hint at a dystopia on the horizon, one where hackers induce blackouts that
last days, weeks, or even longer

Because cyber attack and internet threat is expanding everyday and
there is a need to educate people and also work together to avert it
