PROMISSORY NOTE

I, ANDREANA GONZAGA, of legal age, single, Filipino, and a resident of San


Angelo, Angeles City, promise to pay DOUGLAS MACARTHUR, an American citizen, of
legal age, divorced and not remarried, the principal sum of TEN MILLION PESOS
(PHP10,000,000.00), Philippine Currency, without need of demand, on or before the first
anniversary of my executing this Promissory Note; and I hereby acknowledge my receipt of the
principal sum of TEN MILLION PESOS (PHP10,000,000.00), Philippine Currency, at the
time of my execution of this promissory note.

In case I fail to pay the said amount on the date promised, I agree to pay not only the
principal but also interest, attorney’s fees, and all litigation expenses, and these sums will be
charged to my (DEBTOR) account. I further agree and acknowledge that no forbearance by
DOUGLAS INGE JOHNSTONE in collecting this promissory note shall prejudice any of his
rights to collect it in full at any time after its due date.
