(CUSTOMER)
1. Business Partner Creation : CUSTOMER
T- CODE : BP
Business Partner Roles :
General Business Partner
FLCU00 - CVI: FI Customer
FLCU01- CVI: Customer
UKM000- BP credit Management
Role FLCU00 will have
General data
Company Code data
Account Management, Payment etc
Role FLCU01will have
General data
Sales & distribution related data like sales org, sales, billing etc
Role UKM000 will have be created by Masterdesk , data related Credit segment, credit limit
etc will be updated by CMG team.
1. Enter T-code BP. The below screen Opens
2. To create New BP , click on Organisation/Person, depending on the requirement.
3. Below screen Open up
4. Select the account group for which customer needs to be created and select the role as
General Business Partner.
5. Click on Control tab and enter BP Type field same as Account group.
6. Mandatory fields related to BP type gets activated
Enter all the mandatory fields
7. Address tab:
Mandatory Fields:
a) Title
b) Name
c) Search Term 1/2
d) Pin code and City
e) Country
f) Transportation Zone
g) Language
8. Identification tab:
Mandatory Field
a) Tax Classification 3
Optional Field : Legal form, industry
9. Payment Transaction : Bank details data updation
Click on SAVE button
Message pop up on business partner creation on successful transaction.
To add Sales and Distribution details to Customer :
Change the Business Partner in change mode and assign FLCU00 CVI: FI
Customer
10. Customer : General data Tab
Mandatory Field
a) Nielsen Indicator
b) Customer Classification
Optional Fields:
c) Industry Code1
11. The City code can be entered in Customer : tax data Tab
12. Click on Sales and Distribution Tab to enter sales Org related data
13. Enter Sales Org/Division/Distribution Channel and press Enter
14. Orders Tab
Mandaroty fields :
a) Currency :INR is populated as default value
b) order probability : 100 %- default value
c) Customer Pricing Procedure : 1 as default vale
d) Customer statistic Group

Click on SAVE button
Message pop up on business partner changes successfully.
TO ADD PAN CARD DETAILS TO CUSTOMER (IF REQUIRED)
16. Open the BP in Change Mode and click on Customer : Country Spec enhancement tab
TO ASSIGN COMPANY CODE DETAILS to CUSTOMER
16. Select Role FLCU00 CVI: FI CUSTOMER from Business Partner Role dropdown and click on
Company Code Tab
17. Enter the Company Code
18. Customer : Account Management Tab
Mandaroty fields :
a) Reconcilation Account
b) Planning Group (earlier in XD01, it was knows as cash management group)
c) Interest Indicator
19. Customer : Payment Transactions Tab
Optional field :
a) Payment Terms
b) Payment Method
c) House Bank
20. Press ‘SAVE’ Button
Once both CVI:Customer & CVI:FI Customer roles are assigned, open the Customer in Change
Mode and assigned UKM000 BP Credit Management and press SAVE button
2. Business Partner Modification:
Customer
T- CODE : BP
1. Enter T-code BP. The below screen Opens and enter the Business Partner code
2. Click on the change button
To extend existing customer to another sales Organization:
3. Click on Switch Area button and enter sales Org/Dist Channel/Division
4. Enter relevant data and press SAVE button
4. Business Partner Contact Person
Creation :
T –Code : BP
1. Click on Person to create new Contact person
2. Select Contact Person from Account group and select role as BUP001: Contact Person
3. Address Tab :
a) Title
b) First Name/Last Name
c) Telephone /Mobile Number
d) Country : default value : IN
4. Click on SAVE button
5. Click on Relationships
6. Select Relationship category as TBUR001- Is Contact Person for from dropdown
And enter the Business Partner code for which this contact number needs to be
attached and then click on “Create” button
7. If required, tag the customer as VIP/Department etc and click OK button
8. The attached Contact Persons details are displayed and click on “Save” Button
5. Blocking/Unblocking Business Partner
T –Code : BP
1. Upon the Business Partner Code in change mode and click on Sales & Distribution
tab
2. Select the sales areas details and press enter
3. Go to Status Tab
4. Select the option for blocking at different level . Check the required option and
press SAVE button
5. For Unblocking the customer : Remove the tick mark at the desired level and press
‘SAVE’ button
6. Search Business Partner
T –Code : BP
The Business Partners can be searched using BP number, Search Term, Name,
Address, Customer Code and Vendor code
Search using Customer Number :
a) Select customer number in Search By field
b) Enter the Customer
c) press START button
d) select the Business Partner from the search result and the data pertaining to
selected BP code is displayed
7. Create Business Partner : FI Customers
T –Code : BP
1. Enter T-code BP. The below screen Opens
2. To create New BP , click on Organisation/Person, depending on the requirement.
3. Below screen Open up
4. To create FI Customer : select the FI customer account group and BP role as FLCU01
CVI:FI Customers
5. Enter all the mandatory fields
15. Address tab:
Mandatory Fields:
h) Title
i) Name
j) Search Term 1/2
k) Pin code and City
l) Country : By default “IN”(for India) will be populated. If required change it
m) Language : EN-English is set as default value.
6. PAN number details can be maintained under the tab : Customer : Country spec
Enhancement
7. Click on Company Code tab to enter details related company code
8. Enter Company code and Reconciliation account number
9. Enter the payment terms
10. Press on SAVE button to save the details
16. PAN Card details are entered in Customer :country specific enhancement
8. Adding Document for a CUSTOMER
Tcode : BP
1. Open the Customer in change mode and select the CVI:Customer in the BP role
2. Click on EXTRAS from Menu and then on Documents
3. The below screen Opens up
4. Click on Create button and standard Doc types option
5. Click on the ype of document which you are planning to upload
6. Select the document and clikc on check button .
7. The attached document can be viewed from Business Document Navigator window upper
part.
