3. Objectives:

A. Students should be able to talk and discuss about health problems using Present Simple and Present
Continuous

B. Students should be able to give suggestions for common health problems using If and When clauses

4. Description of the activities:

Go to the Cambridge platform and work the following lessons:

Lesson A: Healthy living

Lesson B: Aches and Pains

Lesson C: Really? How come?

Lesson D: Health Advice

5. Evaluative Activities:

- Oral

Create a 2 or 3 minute-video about common health problems and diseases. Give suggestions on how to stay
healthy and keep in shape. Make sure you include the vocabulary learnt in the unit.

NOTE: Upload the video on Announcement on the Cambridge Platform

- Writing

Imagine you are a doctor and you need to give suggestion to a patient. Make sure you use IF and WHEN
clauses. Read the following situations and give short pieces of advices.
I am not feeling well. I suffer from intermittent headaches and I
have a sore -throat. I don´t know what to do. Can you give a
suggestion?

I am so stressed! I can´t stand the pressure in my job! This makes


me feel sick and anxious. I am gaining weight. What can I do to
cope with stress and lose weight? Any suggestions?

My mother is feeling blue. She has fever and a terrible cold. She
has stayed on bed for more than a week. Any suggestion?
