1. Write an essay of around (70-100 words) with the title “Where I like to go shopping”.
Note: You are going to describe the place where you most like to go shopping and explain why you like
it. You can mention how can you get in this location using some prepositions of interior location base
on unit 3 from lesson 3, page 42 and you can also include comparative adjectives from lesson 2 page
40.
Where I like to go shopping
Example
My favorite place to go shopping is Megamall shopping center. I like it because there are many different
types of shops. There is one called ‘Hot Topic’ is one of my favorites it is on the second floor almost in
front of the escalator, you can find lots of brands like Nike, Vans, Adidas etc. Last month I bought a
leather jacket that was the first time I met that place. I remember that I entered the place by coincidence
then a store worker came at me I said that I was looking for a leather jacket and in a polite way this
person took me the section in the store, that place was huge, so without any help I probably would have
lost, it was really kind individual. This person gives me options and also asked me for the size I was
looking for. I also bought a pair of shoes, these pairs are more comfortable than the ones I bought last
month in another store. I can say that the service provided was excellent. In this mall you can also eat
because are bunch of restaurants around. These shops are more expensive than the shops in the city
center, but they are bigger and nicer. In Megamall, you can find the best supermarket in the city. There
are also cafés and a cinema inside this mall. I would say that It is the most comfortable cinema in the
city.
This example I made has 237 words but remember you have to make your own one.
Where I like to go shopping
My favorite place to shop is downtown. I like it because there are thousands of stores
and it is only 10 minutes from my house. There are many places called everything for
$ 5,000, you can find all kinds of things in good condition and at a low price. Three
years ago I bought a shirt, which came out of very good quality, so much so that even
when I put it on it looks new. I remember that the first time I went was out of curiosity,
then a store worker approached me and said I will put a stamp on the bag, then go
inside and start looking for the dishes I needed. . and as always the workers of the
center go after one so that they don't take anything, the employee stopped following
me, I went to the clothing section and chose a shirt, very big for me but I knew that
with scissors I could fix it and that's how it was, Then I stood in line for half an hour,
but was happy to bring too many items. I can say that the service they provide is bad,
they lack more staff, so when it comes to paying it is very delayed. In the center, you
usually enter the plaza to eat, or simply to order food and take it home. I think the
center is a good place to buy, better prices and more feasible for everyone.
