A final requirement for the Gen. Ed. Subject (Science, Technology, and Society)
Submitted to Mr. Ryan V. Labana, LPT, MSc. / Department of Biology, College of Science

NAME: LAILA JOSHBETH P. SANDOVAL________________________________________

Course, Year and Section: BACR 1-1_______________________

In not more than 150 words, what is SDG for you?

It is a set of goals given or created as guide for the government and its people. It gives us
directions in what things we need to focus on and how should we attain them. It enumerates all the
important things that the government and the people should pay close attention, too. It provides us a
clear goal for the next years. It shows us what needs to be improved and how can those things could
improve in involvement of the country.

I believe I can participate in attaining the following three (3) SDGs:

1. QUALITY EDUCATION__________________________________________
2. ZERO HUNGER___________________________________________
3. GENDER EQUALITY__________________________________________

What is the meaning of the top 1 agendum that you have chosen (<100 words)?

Quality Education is all about giving every child and Filipino an equal right to education. Not
just in the sense of being brought and taught in the school but it should also guarantee the quality of the
type of education the students' are undergoing. It involves provision of school materials, changes in
curriculum that may fit the students well in order to enable their whole capability.
