Passion Animation Studios is a business organisation that focuses on Film and Tv in the animation industry for
30 years, creating Oscar stories. Their clients range from Coca cola to the BBC Olympics.
What are their values?
Their values are ‘to connect and inspire through the moving image.’ They do this whilst nurturing some of the
world’s best animation talent to create memorable characters.
How big is the studio? Do they have studios in other locations?
Passion Animation studios is based in the UK, US France and Australia.
What software do they use?
2D, 3D, live action, mixed media, photoreal stop motion and virtual reality to produce things like commercials,
short films and more.
Personal considerations:
I find interest in this studio because of its peculiarity in the way that all their projects are different and they do a
range of different things for different clients. I would most probably like to be involved in the studios based in
the UK as there is not far commute but am not bothered by distance. They have job availabilities and and email

The line is an animation studio that work for clients such as Gucci, Virgin Media, Freeview, the Hollywood
reporter and so much more. They make games, series and interactive experiences like animation characters
around actors formed from innovative ideas.
What are their values?
They are ran by animators which sounds quite obvious but actually means that their priority is based on the
quality of their work and no middle men so they have employees from around the world to bring around
their diverse ideas to make a great product.
How big is the studio? Do they have studios in other locations?
Their studio is based in East London so would mean I would have to commute or move there.
What software do they use?
Their specialism is 2D animation but they often make work that they haven’t been asked to make- like
games due to their own passion.
Personal considerations:
The studio would not be too far to commute to and as they are based in London, the distance to get there is
not excessive. The Line currently does not have any job vacancies, internships or work experience. This
means that working year is not currently possible but I do enjoy their passion for work and appreciation for
animators.

Illumination Macguff is one of the leading animations stuudios in the world dedicated to the making of
animated feature films produced by illumination entertainment for universal pictures.
What are their values?
Communication and artistic collaboration of different talents so to do this hey ensure that all their teams are
gathered in one place promoting unity of ideas for the best results.
How big is the studio? Do they have studios in other locations?
Illuminations Macguff is solely based in Paris, France with several different people with different skiils
working together.
What software do they use?
’The studio has been a reference in terms of 3D animation with its cutting-edge technology and its artistic
and technical teams, internationally recognized for their expertise’.
Personal considerations:
I would be prepared to move to Paris due to my familiarity with living abroad after living in Belgium for
several years; this is because, I would enjoy working with such a prestigious and skilled studio who
dedicates time and care into their work to be recognised worldwide.

Seed Animation Studio London
What kind of work do they make and who for?
Their focus is on character and story to engage viewers. They have worked for a range of clients/ businesses such as
skype, the o2, the NHS, amazon and MTV. With these connections, they are known for quality animations with
meaning.
What are their values?
The studio’s driving force is creative thinking which allows them adapt to briefs and think critically which is different
to the traditional take of animator disciplines which gives Seed Animations a new and better approach that is intriguing
to new clients.

They have a studio based in London.

They use 2D, 3D/CGI, mixed media aiming for TV, studio films and photoreal productions.
Personal considerations:
I would most likely move to London for this experience or commute from home. They have job adverts on their
website but do not offer work experience. I am intrigued with their work due to the obvious individuality of their work
and the many opportunities.

ARGON EFFECTS LTD.
What kind of work do they make and who for?
Argon Effects is an independent company that has works for several different clients like Disney for
Cinderella and other projects like The Kingsman and Bohemian Rapsody. They work by using pre/post-
visualisation to explore ideas using animation, camera and digital effects.
What are their values?
Their approach is flexible and collaborative using visualisation such as story boards, scripts and concept
illustrations to assist the clients idea to come to life.
How big is the studio? Do they have studios in other locations?
They are only based in London.
What software do they use?
Industry standard applications such as Maya, Z-brush and substance.
Personal considerations:
I have found an interest in this studio because of its unique approach using visualisation in several
departments to create one idea. The studio is located in London, UK and so they have jobs looking for
animators based in the UK, who understand camera direction/photography, have knowledge of practical
cameras and good expertise with maya.

Disney is one of the largest animation studios in the whole world known for its classical movies, music and
characters. For 95 years Walt Disney studios has encompassed a collection of respected film studios such as 20th
Century studios, Marvel studios, Pixar and more!
What are their values?
Innovation, quality, community, storytelling, optimism and decency, can be seen in everything they create to help
make the unified vision for their studio.

Disney uses Autodesk Maya, Pixologic Z-brush, and Presto.

Personal considerations:
Disney is a very well known prestigious company that’s looked up to by so many so getting a job here is very
competitive and challenging- although applications and searches on their website are always open. From childhood,
I have always aspired to work for a company such as Disney that drives the lives of so many children and adults.
Disney is worldwide and therefore finding a studio would not be a problem as the have studios based in the UK.

What kind of work do they make and who for?
They focus on film, TV and the digital word making large productions such as miraculous and Power
Princess typically aimed at children teaching valuable lessons on regular TV.
What are their values?
Zag focuses on classic stories, Iconic characters and melodies to bring happiness to kids all over the
world..

Their studio is based in Paris, France but they also have additional pop-up stores in Los Angeles. And some
studios in Tokyo, Montreal and Seoul.

Personal considerations:
My interest towards zag came from the show miraculous which I found had a special animation type and
taught goof values towards children. Because there are no local Zag studios, I would have to move to work
at zag which I would not mind doing. However, at the moment they aren’t advertising any job
availabilities.
