PRINTING
INTRODUCTION
Sublimation is customizing and personalizing products such as mugs cell phone cases tiles trophies and
apparel has quickly become a popular and profitable industry sublimation is an easy and cost-effective way to
add product personalization as part of any business.As of now modern generation wants to give customized
gifts and wear apparels with having prints according to their tastes and for this they even want to pay extra
money ,so it should be more profitable business than selling old traditional apparels and gifts .
What kind of products we can customize?
Light /dark fabrics (cotton, polyester,lycra ) mugs ,cushions, photo frames and printed gifts etc.
What are our target audience?
As our enterprise closer to the Govt. Colllege we are able to grasp the attention of students and for bulk orders
we do contacts with school/colleges and other tournament clubs .
PROCESS OF CUSTOMIZING
For customization we need both hardware and software components to print ,cutting the printed media and
transfer of media to desired product .
Hardware components- PC/Laptop,Printer,Plotter,Sublimation Ink,Sublimation Paper ,Heat press machine and
other small components
Software components- photoshop,Corel draw and some graphic designer softwares
The heating process
The substrate is exposed to temperatures from 350 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit as the transfer paper typically is
placed on to a heat press.
The ink and the transfer material is then moved into the gas state through this. The ink and the transfer material
permeate through the fibers of the substrate material once they are in a gas state.
Ink transfer and bonding
The ink that has permeated the substrate fibers solidified and is locked permanently into place by the transfer
material when the heat is removed from the transfer paper and substrate. The images should never be subject to
deterioration beyond that of the substrate itself assuming the procedure correctly.
