MidPlotStructure Pps

Plot describes the structure of a story through a causal sequence of events. Freytag's Pyramid models this with five parts - exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. It is often modified to extend slightly before and after the primary rising and falling action portions to allow for additional setup and conclusion. The climax is the most intense turning point surrounded by the rising and falling conflicts that lead to it and follow it respectively.
