Today's market saw a massive continuation move up on Friday’s big reversal. A handful of leading
stocks were up anywhere from $6 to as much as $75 each with the Dow Jones Industrials closing
up a whopping 1293 points today on very heavy volume.
It looks to me as though the market could be putting in a 'V' bottom which is the best kind of
market bottom as stocks rocket back up and close near their highs before this nasty sell off
started.
Let’s move on to two of the leading averages and the massive snapback they had today.

The Volatility index (VIX) moved down 7 to close the day at plus 32 and is working its way back
down to normal levels that start at 18 or lower.

My short-term trading oscillator is moving down as well and closed the day at minus 66. The
closer to the zero line this tool gets the better.
