CHAT GROUP GUIDELINES (CGG)
Fini Homes Condominium Unit Owners
GOALS & OBJECTIVES: I.A.C.
1. INFORMATION DISSEMINATION
2. ANNOUNCEMENTS & GUIDELINES
3. COLLATING IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS for the welfare of the community
CORE VALUES: R - M O R S
1. Respect. Respect must be given to each one. This includes respecting
each other’s ideas and the purpose and objectives of the group. Doing
this sustains the integrity and dignity of all unit owners and the goals of
the group chat.
2. Monitor your behavior. Foul or offensive language must NOT be used
and directed at anyone. Avoid the ad hominem attacks by focusing on
the issue, not the individual.
3. Observe ethics, good manners, and right conduct. If you have personal
business with other members, kindly address it through private chat and
not in this chat group.
4. Responsible. You are responsible with your words and actions. Think
before you send a message. Never give false information and baseless
accusations about anyone.
5. Stick to the goal. Remember that the end goal is to be united and not to
cause divisions of members.
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. Respect the main purpose of the chat group: Community and development updates,
relevant news and other information which are relevant for the welfare of the
community are all welcome and recommended. Irrelevant topics, as well as religion and
politics, no matter how strongly you may feel about current events, are out.
2. Sending a private message is preferred if a member wants, for instance, to tell another
member about anything personal.
3. Be helpful. If a member asks about something you know of, or have access to the
information needed, share it. After all, that’s what everyone is there for.
4. Be sensitive and think twice before sending out certain messages. It’s always easier to
send out invitations to a group chat—but only if you intend to invite everyone.
5. Limit your post. Share only links that would be helpful for the development and
improvement of the community.
6. Avoid sharing fake news or false information that may lead to confusion or conflict of
interests.
7. Don’t send fatalistic messages. Some people don’t have the same mental strength. (this
may cause depression).
8. Don’t call out a group attention. If you must discuss a problem between you and a
member, do it in a private chat group. Passive-aggressive remarks have no place in the
chat group.
9. Just in case there is a tension during a conversation, the parties who would act in an
unruly manner will be given a warning. If the tension still continues, a three (3) days
suspension shall apply to the unruly person.
10. You may compliment a person but never criticize a person in public. Malicious
statement and oral defamation to a person either direct or indirect is harmful to overall
well-being.
Sanction: Violation/s committed will be given WARNING whereas violation for
Number 10 is subject for outright removal of the person involved.
