Kemelix D510
Kemelix D510 is a polyimine derivative. It is a demulsifier intermediate which aids the destablilisation of water-in-oil
emulsions. It is Kemelix D510's excellent demulsifying properties which make it a superior dehazer for use as a
component in dewatering formulations. As well as it's use in dewatering fomulations, Kemelix D510 boasts
exceptional desalting properties encouraging the removal of salts and water from crude oil in both the oilfield and
refinery. Kemelix D510 has a high speed of action confirming it's suitability for separation vessels with shorter
residence times. Due to Kemelix D510 being effective at low inclusion levels, there is a beneficial reduction in the
cost of the final demulsifier formulation. Croda's reccomended crude oil demulsifier formulation for Kemelix D510 is
10-1000ppm.

Resin alkoxylates and polyimine derivatives should be individually evaluated and then the best performing of
these products should be combined. Optimised performance can then be achieved by adding our modified
polyols or other products from the Kemelix range. Solubility details of Kemelix D510 can be found in the
