I. General Information

Credit Units: 3 Module Duration: 10 days

I. Introduction
In this module you will learn vocabulary referring to family members and cell phone usage.
You will also learn how to build sentences using frequency adverbs to answer the
question: how often.
II. Specific Objectives:
To identify family members using possessives.
To use vocabulary referring to cellphone usage.
To answer information questions with how often.
III. Homework
1. Look at the chart. Complete the chart with your information and
the information of a friend using a check. (). Then write 5
sentences describing your activities and 5 describing your
friend’s.
Example: I always check my e-mail. He rarely watches tv during
the weekdays.

2. Look at the chart below and write 8 sentences to describe how
you use your cell phone.
Example: I send and receive texts every day. I hardly listen to
music on my cell phone.

3.Write about your need, likes, obligations, and wants. Write at least
three sentences for each and illustrate.

Example:

I like to wake up early to read.
I like to eat sweets.
I like to chat with my friends.
My needs
I need a new cell phone.
I need to finish the modules for my classes.
I need to buy new shoes for my daughters.
My wants
I want vacations.
I want new clothes.
