NAME:

INSTRUCTOR: Engr. Jose S. Condonar Jr.

SUBJECT/CODE/ DATE & TIME: CE324 / 1833 / Wed-Thur 8:00-12:00

GROUP 2

FIELDWORK NO. 4

OBJECTIVES:

To lay a reversed curve by deflection angle method.

INSTRUMENTS:

Transit, Tape, Range Poles, Hubs.

GIVEN:

I 1 = 30° I 2 = 26°

D1 = 7° D2 = 6°

R1 = 163.702m R2 = 190.986m

Lc 1 = 85.714m Lc 2 = 86.667m

T 1 = 43.864m T 2 = 44.09m

C 1 = 5.715m C 2 = 6.67m

PROCEDURE:

1. Measure the perpendicular distance of the tangents.

2. Locate the P.R.C.
3. Measure T 1 and T 2.
4. Stake out each of the arcs the same as the simple curve. But the second curve is in a
reversed form.
