I. Course Description:

This course deals on the interaction between science and technology in social, cultural, political, and economic contexts. It is an
interdisciplinary course whereby students are engaged in learning myriad of scientific issues and technological developments; and it provides
background information on the importance of science, technology and society. The discussions are focused on how science has influenced human
society and vice versa. It examines the interaction between the human quest to understand the natural world and how this understanding has
fashioned society and its development.

II. Course Outcomes:
