Technology Explanation Rooftop Model
In a Solar rooftop system, solar PV modules (panels) are installed on the foor of a building or factory shed.
They can range from 1 k Wp - 500 kW. Installing a 1 kWp grid-connected rooftop solar system requires an
approximately 100 sq. ft. area. Inverter converts Direct Current (DC) electricity generated by PV panels
into Alternating Current (AC) Net metering is designed primarily to power the excess load supply to the
grid. A battery backup is optional and may be provided in areas with unreliable grid.

Solar - System can be customised as per space available, energy requirement and budget. It can
be scaled up in future as panels are modular, Residential customers can install a single-Phase
Solar syctem upto 5KW and commercial/institution customers can install a three-phase solar
