Student lingo is a restore that has affordable workshops on it for students that are
unable to attend campus workshops in person. Student lingo provides on demand
student success workshops that are easy to understand. The website is also formatted
very well, this allows students to know where everything is without them feeling
intemitead from the website.

The Early Childhood Education Lab Program is set up to help students get experience
working with young children to help future teachers understand what it means to teach a
young child and what is required of them.

detailed but simple to understand. THis can help someone pinpoint all the classes you
will need and want to take that can help you in your future career as a teacher.

Under some of the guidelines for the Field Observation, there are multiple rules that we
must follow while visiting a school in order to uphold a professional environment at the
school you are at.
I) It is important under the guidelines that you follow a strict dress code such as wearing
a button up shirt with dress pants or not wearing a t-shirt and jeans.
II) Attendance and Punctuality is listed under the guidelines. This means not to be late to
or show up unannounced. It is important to set a time and date of the times you are
going. To the school for the observation.
III) It is of the utmost importance, that is Professional conduct. This means to be polite
and professional to all teachers and staff. That means not being disrespectful or
disrupting the class while the teacher is teaching.

A)The library has links to help students cite any work that they need cited from any
papers or assignments they need done.
B)The liberty offers workshops for all sorts of activities for free for students to attend and
gather from information posted on their website.
C)Liberty has a wide variety of reacher papers that students can view at any time. This
can help do reasher on a thesis statement for any topic you might need.

4. Nevada Computer and Technology Standards-

A) The standards indicate what every student should know and that they should be
able to use the information and apply it. They use this to set the standards and
have a level for which each state has to meet. One example of that could be that
Students must be able to use digital media and understand the environments to
communicate with work collaboratively.

Weebbly is a free website creator that allows students to create a web program that they
are able to update and post all their portfolios to show all the work we have done
becoming a teacher. EDU 201 requires this and 1 artifact that is required is Your
Educational Philosophy.

This resource is used by the school district to help students get out of the “Pipeline”
which is a never ending struggle to stay out of trouble. CCSD has partners with different
organzies to help keep kids out of trouble. This also gives schools more power in
disciplining the students in order to reach for more acceptable behavior.

SafeVoice is a wonderful system that allows teachers,students, and parents to report
anything annyomes to the school district. This includes bullying, suicies, or even threats
against the schools itself.

Focus 2024 is a five year plan in order to increase the success rate of all the students in
ccsd. The plan focuses on all the resources that will become available and showcase
that everyone has a say in the matter. This means that the parents, teacher, and staff
must all be on the same page.

CCSD Employees start their new career. This page gives them the requirements to know
what to doon the first day of their contract.

Curriculum Engine is a program that teachers are able to use for posting lesson plan and
creating a schedule for the day.

III)VegasPBS-https://www.vegaspbs.org/learn/
Vegas PBS is a free online streaming service with educational video for young students. This is
a partnership between CCSD and PBS which benefits children by helping them learn to read
and write from anywhere there is wifi.

4.Student Resources

Homework Hotline is a free homework help service provided by VegasPBS. These services help
students with homework and connect them to real tutors that are able to help students complete
their homework.

Say NO to Bullying is a stand that a combination of students and CCSD staff have created to
help prevent and stop bullying in their tracks. This was established in order to help make the
school environment a more safe place.

During our pandemic times, Canvas has allowed us to repone school online from the safety of
our homes. Much like our students, teachers have now put entire school years up on Canvas
and allows students to conutene to receive a school education during these trying times.

5.Parnets Family and Community Engagement Services (FACES)-http://faces.ccsd.net/


Family and Community Engagement Services (FACES) is a service that helps parents have
more of a say in what is happening in the school district. The program is used in hopes of
gathering support from the parents in order to help students succeed and create a more
educational environment for them.
