=4180 J/kg.°C) that enters at 22°C at a rate of 1.5 kp/s. The diameter of the
tube is 2.5 cm, and its length js 6 m. Determine the overall heat transfer
coefficient of this heat exchanger. 7

condensed to liquid water. Assume the condenser to be shell and tube heat
exchanger consisting of 30000 tubes, each executing two passes. The tubes of
thin wall construction with D=25 mm, and the steam condenses on their outer
surface with an associated convection coefficient ho=11000 w/m2.k, the heat
transfer rate that must be affected by the exchanger is q=2 + 10° W, and this
accomplished by passing cooling water through the tubes at rate of 3 + 10*ke/s
(the flow rate per tube is therefore Ikg/s) .The water enters at 20 C, While the
