Goals Essay
Having goals helps most people reach success. When you set goal, it allows you to have
a road map on what you plan your life to be. I have set goals for myself so I can be the best
person I can be. I don’t want to have a very simple life, but I do want to go to college and have a
very interesting life cause I don’t like to be boring.
After high school, I am planning on attending Kennesaw State University. I want to go
here because it is close to home and allows me to get home if anything bad happens. I want to
join the Audio-Visual Tech Team because I’m taking to AVTF program at the academy and it
would be a waste of time if I didn’t use my talent in that field. After my freshman or sophomore
year, I want to transfer to UGA because that is my dream school and I’ve wanted to go their
ever since I was 5. I have done my research and I do not have the grades to go straight after
high school. I want to go to UGA and at least get a Batcheler’s Degree in the audio-visual tech
field. After college is a whole another story.
After I go to college, I want to move to downtown Atlanta due to the massive movie and
film exposer I can get. I plan on living in Atlanta for a few years to get more experience in the
movie industry and then I hopefully will have enough money to move out to Los Angles to really
start my life and dreams. I do not want be stuck behind a desk working a nine to five job
because that would be the death of me. The movie industry is something that is very hands on
and that fits me almost perfectly. If everything goes the way I plan, then I can start a family out
in California.
Before I move out to California, Me and about 4 of my friends are going to get an
apartment to live in before we all get done with college cause we all are going to go to KSU
then UGA. Living with my friends is the ultimate dream for me in my younger years because I
value my friends more than anything in my life. But when I do eventually move out to
California, I want to have a nice family and have a very expensive house. I have done my
research about how much the movie and film industry will pay me and I will have enough
money to live the life that I want to live. I’m not going to go around spending all my money on
things I do not need but I want to have a very nice sports car or two. I’ve wanted to have a 98
Mustang raptor ever since I was ten and it will set me back about three hundred thousand
dollars, but it would bring me endless amounts of happiness. I want to live near downtown Los
Angles, but far enough way to get away from all the crime so I don’t have to worry about
anything hurting my family or more importantly my car. I want to have a smaller house back
here in Cartersville so I can come back and let my kids have the same memories I have had
living here.
In summary for when I graduate high school, I want to get an apartment with a handful
of my friends while I’m attending Kennesaw State University and hopefully when I go to the
University of Georgia. After I complete college with my Batcheler’s degree in Audio-Visual tech I
want to move to downtown Atlanta for the job opportunities in film that Atlanta has. When I
get enough money I want to move out to Los Angles and start a new life. When I move out
there, I want to start a family and have a big house near downtown Los Angles and get the
dream car I’ve always wanted. I want to have a house here in Cartersville to let my family get
out of the big city. After that point I do not know what my life will be like but I do know that I
will be a happy person if all my dreams come true.
