1.13 Data in the Filing Unit
Overall folder structure of the filing unit
• The filing unit uses the Linux OS and therefore there is no concept of "drive".
• The filing unit has a single partition and the folder structure described below.
Folder Description
Contains Jpeg database files.
/database
File name: dir.db
Contains the stored jpeg files.
A subfolder is created with the same name as the stored
ID. Subfolders with names representing the dates
(YYYYMMDD) are created under the ID subfolder, and
image files with names representing the times
(HHMMSS.jpg) are created under the Date subfolders.

If a file with the above conditions is saved, the file name
will be:

This folder is used to decompress the data to be backed

• When a patient ID is changed in order to prevent mix-up of measurement data or misfiling,
a confirmation message is displayed to allow user confirmation before clearing the
measurement results and OB information. This function is available on the ID registration
screen. ID entry (fixed character function) is disabled while an ultrasound image is
displayed.
